I’m very happy with this robe! It’s nice & light weight. The buttons easily clasp together & they hold strong. I like that it also has pockets on each side. I’ve been using it for about a month & it seems to be excellent quality. I also machine washed & dried it & it came out perfect, no shrinkage or wear. I’m 5’7 & US size 12-14. I ordered an XL because I like my robes to fit loose & it does. It’s perfect for these hot summer days! I highly recommend!

Review5 stars.Firstly, I never thought I would buy a housecoat! My grandmother used to wear them and I thought they were outdated until I began reading the reviews while shopping to buy one for my mom who is in rehab. This house coat stuck out based on its reviews and positive comments; so much so that I ended up buying one for myself as well to wear around my condo in Florida. I like that it is not see through or revealing, so I can answer the door in the morning without feeling self conscious. It is also true to size and well made. I was concerned about the snaps being difficult to use due to my arthritis, but they open and close without effort. I hand washed it and line dried as instructed and it did not wrinkle or shrink at all, and dried extremely quickly. The fabric got even softer after laundering. For all those who think this kind of garment is passé, think again!

I am 5’ 0” tall, weigh 150 and normally wear an XL. I like robes to be roomy so I ordered 2XL. It has pockets on each side, I made sure to put my hands in the pockets for prospective purchasers to see. Also since I’m very short, note that the robe is about six inches past my knees. For average height and tall people, it might be shorter than you like.It is comfortable, cheap and cute. It’s made in China, but most things are now.

I was looking for a lightweight robe that didn’t look or feel cheaply made. This is nice. You can’t see through it. It hangs well and is comfortable. I also like the snaps.

The laundering instructions on Amazon are described as, "Machine wash warm on gentle cycle; wash dark colors separately; use only non-chlorine bleach when needed; tumble dry low; iron on lowest setting as needed". But the label says to hand wash and dry flat in the shade and do not iron. Also the stitching on the pleats was messy...not finished off cleanly. The overall look of the robe was dowdy. It might be better in a bright color. I ordered the light gray stripe.

This is a re-purposing evaluation. I am built weird, so need lots of room in the middle and small at top and bottom - this went around my hips. I am elderly and disabled so I needed easy to put on and close. Not so elderly that I want to become enbedded in a hospital gown. Shopped spa robes and snap front dresses, but the stores that specialize in elderly and disabled clothing had nothing I deemed to be affordable. ( same clothes as other places, just add the description "senior clothig" and double the price.) Took a chance on this dress and it is perfect. Step out of the shower and slip into the dress. Once it soaked me dry, I can go for my nightgown. Spa robes mostly had tied belts, so I struggled with the tie, or dropped it and was left with no way to close the garment. Trying to find the same dress in solid color. Would be a nice change for summer and around the house in the day. Striped just don't do anthing for me stylewise. May be old, but still like to try and dress well. Dress did wrinkle somewhat when washed, but I didn't do the washing so it could be operator failure. For a after shower robe that was not an issue.

I got the darling "Flower" print in Large. I am 5 ft/ 165 lbs/38-36-42 and it skims my body in a very flattering way. No way can you tell it is a robe/house coat. I have washed it on cold and it did fade onto a white towel, but did not lose its vibrancy. I dried it in the dryer on medium for about ten minutes then hung it up. It did not shrink at all that I can tell. I feel like I really got lucky with this purchase. I was looking for something to throw on to answer the door in lol and got a comfortable, very lightweight little dress. I just wore it last week to my daughter's birthday dinner at a restaurant. don't know if any of their other prints would be as good as Flower for wearing outside the house, but I really love this one.

I usually wear a 2x but I ordered an XL in Navy Blue Stripe and it fits perfect for me. I am full busted with large hips and a tummy and it was perfect fit for me. The material is nice and I love the snap on buttons. I washed in on cold water in the washing machine and hung it to dry. It was ready to wear as a house dress, lounger or light house coat. I live in a very hot area and it keeps me cool and is comfortable in air-conditioning. I will order more.

This summer dressing gown is very good quality and fit. Lovely material and with press studs instead of buttons is very easy to put on and take off. Would be very easy for a lady with arthritis or any other disability in their hands.
