I purchased this rug just to make my hardwood floor living room seem a little more inviting and because my kid loves playing on it. The rug is not very thick but that's okay because for the price it's really not too bad. I would say the only complaint I have is that it does shed so you do see little black fuzz balls around the house and sometimes mistake them as spiders LOL. To clean it I vacuum it and that can sometimes be a little difficult as it's shag carpet so you have to go over it a lot with the vacuum. I'm giving this product four stars because I knew for the price it wouldn't be super thick and I knew that a shag carpet would shed a little bit. One thing I should mention is if you do vacuum this carpet make sure to check your roller brushes after every couple of vacuums because it does get caught up in there just like hair and you'll just have to clean it out like you normally do. If you're looking for a decent quality rug for a good price and don't expect anything amazing then this is good for you. Make sure that you expected to shed because it's going to shed and know that it can be a little difficult to clean. As far as smell goes when I first purchased it there was a slight smell but it really wasn't too bad after sitting out for a day it was fine I also use a disinfectant tide spray on mine after cleaning it just to give it a little extra scent.

I'm so glad I get to enjoy my rug!!My original rugs were warped and floppy. Even after 2 weeks of letting them 'breathe' after getting out the vacuum seal. The outer edges were also the only areas that fluffed and have the plush feel, while the rest of the rug remained flat. Today I received my replacement and can already see a huge difference after laying it out. It lays flat and I don't think this will pose the same tripping hazard as the last...I had to use heavy objects in attempt to keep the rug flat but it wasn't practical. I'm glad the replacement they sent is better AND was delivered earlier than expected. 9x6' in my image is going to lay here for the recommended 48 hrs and will be used in bedroom. So looking forward to walking barefoot on this 😊

I absolutely love the texture of this rug. So soft and silky. I also love that it's machine washable since we have 2 toddlers and a husky.My only complaint is that it's SO silky that I am worried about a family member completely biffing it as they walk through the room.

This is a beautiful rug! I have purchased many rugs and this is one of the best! Great price and easy to care for! Looks great everyday. I vacuum 2-3 times a week and it looks brand new all over again. Came vacuum sealed! Thank you !I will be back for more.

I recently moved to a new house and bought this rug for the living room. My puppy got confused for a few days from being in new surroundings and peed and pooped on the new rug. I washed it and let it air dry, then fluffed it up with a carpet comb and it looks brand new again! It's got rubber backing on it to prevent movement and its extremely cushioning and comfy!

Giving a four because while it is very soft, there simply isn't any cushioning.If you have a tile, floor you must buy some type of padding, which I do have a half inch nonslip padding on order.Must mention that on unpacking that it is extremely wrinkled. And that it probably will need the full 48 hours to fully straighten out. It does come highly vacuumed packed in thick plastic.

Can’t beat the price. Ordered the 6x9 for my son’s room. Thinner rug, but works well on a wood floor and fluffs up pretty good.. my son loves it! Looks great! Very mild smell that wasn’t bothersome at all and didn’t notice it after a day.

Beautiful blue nice rubber back. I have it on top of a half inch pad which makes it much softer or cushioning. If you're wanting something of high quality this is not it. But for the price I'm so glad I bought it
