Blueline30 HD-X External Water Pump

I have had this pump on my tank for about a week now, and it is running great. I am running it from my sump through an Ocean Red Sea external canister filter, then back up to the tank (about 5 feet high). I have 5 90 degree elbows on 1" return line, and the flow in the tank is overpowering if I don't throttle it back. I don't have anything to measure the flow with, but I have turned my ball valve on the return down about 70% in order to reduce the buffeting currents in the tank for my fish (it is a freshwater tank). Not completely silent, but quiet enough so you can just barely hear it across the room (about 15 feet away). Great warranty, and I like that it is reparable if there is a problem. Does not seem to add any heat to the water, and the pump itself would barely be considered "warm" when touched.
