It fits perfectly in the room, was easy to put together and does what I need it to do. Great!

I had all kinds of issues assembling these. I got two as you can see in the photo. Both were missing pre drilled holes in the METAL frame. Funny part was each one was in a different spot so I know it was a mistake. Luckily I have problem solving skills and made it work. One of the dowels was missing half and the hole for one of the adjustable fee was crooked. Again. I made it work. There is a reason these are affordable. In the end they are sturdy and look nice. But what a pain.

The reason I gave it a four is because this is the second one I received. The first one had a problem with one of the metal brackets not fitting together like it should. So I had to return it. Submitted for a refund and was waiting for the seller to send me the return label. Customer service for the seller contacted me wanting to know exactly what the problem was. I sent pictures and tried everything she suggested to try to fix the problem and even offered a 30% discount if the problem was fixable. I tried everything except banging it in with a hammer. Still wouldn't go together. Then I got the return label and I would have to send it to China and I would be responsible for shipping cost. So I didn't know how I was going to be able to send it back. Then the customer service representative offered to send me another one and said I didn't have to return the first one. Received the new one within a week and it went together beautifully. Wasn't exactly easy but it worked. Ann, the customer service representative was great and I was impressed at her determination to resolve the issue. I am very happy with my bookshelf and it fit perfectly in the space I chose to put it.

So far, I’m impressed with these shelves! I think the vertical piece on the back being screwed into the frame adds a lot of sturdiness - they pretty much don’t wobble even with some serious pushing. Mine are at risk of having cats jump onto them so sturdiness was a necessity. I wasn’t initially a fan of that style when I saw the listing, but it’s unobtrusive in person and adds so much structure.They aren’t perfect - the two I got don’t perfectly align with each other, it took some strategy and pushing around to get all the screws to align when I assembled it, and the edges of some shelves had small dings (none visible from more than a foot or so away).But for the price, they’re definitely worthwhile to me.

I just want to start by saying I was so excited when this stand came! It came a day earlier than expected and I went to put it together right away. I’m actually a person who loves putting furniture and stuff together, it’s like adult legos for me, but this was a nightmare! The instructions itself were very easy and would of been a breeze to put together, but it’s the attention to detail and actually flaws on how this was built together that ruined it. From the very first step on putting the sides together, it wasn’t lining up well at all! I had to manhandle the side bars to even get it to slide into place. When that was finally figured out, I went to put the screw in and on the same part on both sides, the holes didn’t even line up for me to get all the screw in! At this point, I was only in one the first steps and I was irritated. Then, while continuing to put it together, I started to notice flaws in the look of the wood. From chips in areas to a weird white wavy lines in the paint finish. Putting some of the screws in was difficult and was even stripping my screwdriver! After all the flaws of how assembly went, I will say it was pretty sturdy considering I couldn’t put certain screws in and I believe I’m the only one who would notice the flaws unless someone was looking closely.All in all, if I were to go through the process of finding a stand like this, I would probably keep looking. Because of how the lack of quality and attention to detail is on lining things up correctly for easy assembly, this stand should be more like $60 not over $100. Just sayin.Other peoples may have came in better condition but this is just how my experience has been.

I would buy this again if I needed another. This shelf arrived quickly. I'm a senior citizen and I assembled it by myself with not problems. The shelf is sturdy and good looking. I like it a lot. I have heavy cookbooks on the bottom and it's holding the weight fine. I'm still thinking about what I'm going to put on the rest of it. :)

I needed a nice new bookshelf for my office. It’s really a great sturdy shelf! I could easily set it up it took about 20 minutes and there’s a nice back on the edge of each shelf so my books don’t fall off. I just bought a second for my bedroom!
