Review of Puroma 4 Pack 2.6 Inch Long Shackle Combination Lock 4 Digit Outdoor Waterproof Padlock for Hasp Locker Lock, Sports Locker, Fence, Gate, Toolbox, Case, Hasp Storage, Cabinets (Silver & Black) I got these to help secure some ammo boxes that I have. I say “help secure” because I realize from the start that without spending a small fortune, I am not going to stop anyone from more easily cutting the shanks on these locks. Having said that, for the price, these are very nice locks. I already had experience with this brand of combination lock too and that helped my decision. I found these locks simple enough to reset the combinations to my choices. These fit perfectly on my ammo cases. I cannot attest to any weatherproof usage since I will not be using these in those conditions. The combination windows are easy enough to see the numbers lined up. It seems that one must hold the shank closed into the lock and spin the combination wheels (or at least one) to get them to lock. I really don’t know why one set is all black and the other set is more silver. Not that it matters all that much, but if you want them all to match, this set of 4 does not. I liked the fact that these use 4 digits instead of 3 digits to make for better security in my opinion. The price is reasonable. Made in China (pictured).

I purchased this Puroma 2-pack specifically for our outdoor wooden fence gate, and so far, it has been exactly what we needed. • Smooth Mechanism: Right out of the box, the combination dials turn very smoothly. There’s no "grittiness" or sticking, which is a huge plus for a lock that sits out in the elements. • Visibility: The numbers are high-contrast and very easy to read, even in lower light. You don't find yourself squinting to line up the code. • The Long Shackle: The 2.6” shackle is the "Goldilocks" length for fence latches. It provides enough room to loop through the hardware easily without being so long that the gate has too much play when locked. • Reliability: It does exactly what a gate lock should do—keeps the people you want in, in, and the people you want out, out. The instructions to set the custom combination were straightforward and took less than a minute. The shackle feels sturdy and seems durable. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, smooth-operating lock for a yard or shed, this 2-pack is a great value. Highly recommended!

These locks work as advertised. They accept new combinations, they lock, and they unlock. The rollers for the numbers are not smooth. I sprayed some WD40 on the rollers and now they are smoother. The lock will only serve as a deterrent. I know all locks are pretty much that but these in particular have a longer slimmer neck that doesn't seem at all that good at resisting a brute force attack or from cutting. One of the locks got wet before I sprayed them with WD40 and the rollers overnight were much much harder to turn, the WD40 fixed that issue so I sprayed them all. I am giving these locks 4 out of five stars because I did not expect much and I don't think I got much, if they work a year then I'll be happy. I only recommend these locks if you are looking for a deterrent to keep kids and people out that are just being nosy, if you are wanting more than that then look elsewhere.

This lock was incredibly easy to set the pin and works great for my fence outside! The long neck makes it easy to fit in the lock and gives the peace of mind/security for my daughter playing in our backyard, great price too!

After two years of using these locks I wanted to come and leave a review. I use these locks outside, year round on my gates. They’ve withstood mid-west winters and storms. I’ve had zero issues and they work just as well as the day I purchased them. I open my gates every other day, so a fair amount of use. I highly recommend.

Really happy with this combination lock set! It’s easy to set up and use, and the lock itself feels solid and strong. 💪 Definitely worth the money, especially since it comes with two locks in one package. Great value for everyday use like gym lockers or storage

you get what you pay for. Flimsy lock with a finicky latch. You have to have the code correct to relock it and it pops into the combo change position fairly easily. Luckily, if it should change its own combo you could probably break it with a rock laying on the ground. But, for 6$ it really isn't all that bad.

The padlock with a long shackle is excellent for larger door handles, providing ample space for secure locking. Nonetheless, its cost is comparatively much higher (paid Rs.2,223.00 for two locks) when compared to alternative products in the market, will see if I can return it due to price. Additionally, the brand lacks popularity, and its origin being China raises questions about pricing, especially in the context of the Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative gaining momentum.
