The solar panels have been in Arkansas sun for two days now. If they don’t turn on tonight they are going back. Another string came today and it is in the sun charging. It too will go back for a refund.Update: The next night, after I have expensive solar strings in my cart, I look out on the deck and the lights are all lit, even the ones that just arrived with very little sun time and plastic still on the panel.. It's early in the game yet, but so far so good. Tonight I will try different modes to see if those work. I still think there is room to do better with these lights, but I have upgraded to a four star based on the fact that they are working! Yeah!

Attractive. Large enough to be showy, but not overbearing. The single lights, incased in a plastic globe, are heavy on immature, or small limbs. The light controls are on the back of the solar unit, all black plastic, so not conveinient or east to see. A wireless remote would be a good upgrade and worth the price. Plenty of variety with the modes. The solar units work well. We will add more strands based on the appearance and performance experience.

Strand doesn’t fully light up. Too much of a hassle for my mom to return so she is just dealing with it. Didn’t even get to use it fully one time. Gotta stop trusting amazon dealers.

I do not recommend this for Christmas lights if you live in a colder climate without sun in the winter. I'm in Wisconsin and it was rare there was a sunny enough day for them to be charged for evening display. Only came on like 4 nights over the period of a month. If you lived in California or in the summer, go for it. They were great. It was really cool once they were on and charged and had fun settings.

You have to put them together matching color light to fabric lantern but they work and look awesome . I just bought my third set. I keep one set inside my parlor with the solar panel in window and at night I have instant romantic atmosphere! 2 are at camp where there is only solar.

Beautiful light，it is my first Christmas solar light from amazon，easy to use and install，it looks beautiful in the evening, good quality and waterproof.

The lights were easy to install and the solar panel has consistently charged the lights for a nightly show. The lights are small, but have worked perfectly. I do recommend this product.

There's a lot of solar light strings out there and I've tried many of them. These are nicely lit vivid colors.
