This indicator will meet the needs of most any machinest and is of excellent quality for the price. Indicator works properly and attaches to Bridgeport mill head as expected with included attachment. Case keeps it well protected in my toolbox when not in use.

Not a good value. Just to be clear about what you are buying at this price: An anodized aluminum bracket that only fits small spindles (My mill is half the size of a Bridgeport and it just barely fits), a small piece of roughly finished steel and a bunch of cheap, rough, low quality hardware... with a bottom of the barrel indicator. The case isn't even good; the clasp that holds it closed broke the first time I opened it. At this price I was expecting something comparable to the import stuff from the other North American tooling brands, but what I got instead was comparable to no-brand auction site tools.

This is a really well-made and thoughtfully packaged indicator set. The dial test indicator itself feels solid and precise, with smooth needle movement and good repeatability. The fitted case is a nice bonus — everything arrives protected and organized. I especially appreciated the inclusion of the universal indicator holder, which adds a lot of versatility for different setups. Unfortunately, I had to return this set because it didn’t fit my 100mm spindle mount. The holder simply couldn’t accommodate the size I was working with, and I couldn’t modify it without compromising rigidity. That’s obviously not the fault of the product — just something to be aware of depending on your machine configuration. If it had fit, I would’ve kept it. For anyone using smaller or more standard-sized spindles, this is a great setup for the price. Quality machining, good precision, and excellent presentation.

I purchased the Accusize Industrial Tools Dial Test Indicator with Universal Indicator Holder (P900‑S186) expecting a usable setup, but the universal holder was a major letdown. The indicator itself may be fine, but the included holder is subpar at best. It couldn’t clamp onto the dovetails of the indicator securely, making it completely unreliable for precision work. Even worse, the 5/32" dovetail attachment didn’t fit the universal holder at all, which defeats the entire purpose of buying a matched set. Between the poor clamping force and the incompatible attachments, this kit ended up being unusable in our shop. Definitely not worth the purchase, and I would not recommend it to anyone looking for accurate or dependable workholding. Save your money and buy a better-quality holder elsewhere.

I find the dial very stiff and difficult to set which then will move the indicator while trying to reset the dial. Accuracy is good.
