The aged white cheddar Pirates Booty is hands down one of my favorite dry salty snacks. I've been eating it for 5 years not and don't know if I'll ever get sick of it.For the volume of snackage thats in the package, it has half the calories (130) than there would be if the same volume of potato chips were in the bag. In other words, its not one of those tricky bags of chips that is only 130 calories, but upon opening the bag, you find that it was pumped full of air and there's only 5 chips! When you open a bag of pirates booty, it is chock full of delicious, flavorful white cheddar puffs. They are crunchy, and melt in your mouth at the same tOf course, fresh fruits and veggies are still the healthiest snack. Pirate's Booty is mostly carbs, a wee bit of protein, fiber, and calcium. But compared to other snacks you find in the same aisle at the grocery store, this is a much healthier alternative. The ingredients have nothing to be skeptical about, which is another plus.It is the perfect snack to "splurge" on if you're dieting, as the caloric content doesn't make much of a dent, there's a lot in the bag, and it's full of flavor!

I sometimes crave something salty and crunchy, but I'm allergic to MSG and although most chips don't have it I don't like the greasiness of chips. I usually buy a small bag of Cheetos because it has less MSG than other brands, but then Pirate's Booty Pirate's Booty, Aged White Cheddar, 1-Ounce Bags (Pack of 24)appeared as an Amazon.com Lightning Deal and I decided to try them because it's the first chees snack product I've found that has NO MSG.It was delivered well within the specified time frame, and the box was intact. I know some reviewers stated the puffs were stale but mine are fresh and crunchy, and the outdate isn't until Nov. 13, 2013. They're very crunchy and the texture is nothing like a rice cake. I was surprised at the little different taste; there's a little added pepper that gives the cheesy crunch a little bite. I don't like spicy foods, and this adds just a little tang that isn't overwhelming. These puffs are small so it looks like there's a lot in 1 ounce, and it takes me a while to nibble through a serving.This is a snack food so I have to be realistic about its nutritional value, but it is better than other snack cheese products. I'll give a comparison between Pirate's Booty and Cheetos, with that of the Cheetos product in parenthesis: Calories per 1-ounce serving: 130 (150); Calories from fat: 45 (90); Total fat: 5 grams (10 gm.) with saturated fat 1 gram (1.5 gm.); no cholesterol for either; Sodium: 140 mg (300 mg) - this was surprising to me because they taste really salty - Total carbohydrate: 19 grams (13 gm.) with no (less than 1) gram dietary fiber and no (1 gram) sugars; and Protein: 2 grams protein in each. Overall, this is a much better snack.I'm glad I bought the 1-ounce bags because I could easily overdose on a serving of these! This is my new go-to snack to keep me on my diet!

I used these for "hidden treasure" at the end of our treasure hunt in my second grade classroom on Pirate Day. The students loved the image on the front, the flavor, and the fact that it says "booty" of course. I liked the value for the amount of packages, and the size of each bag!

I’ve been buying this for years, it’s really the best, I feel in snack foods... I had to stop purchasing it on this site because the price became way-way too high, and I started getting some stale bags... If the price now stays in tact, I’ll be back on the Pirate Booty love and buy list, as I think Pirates Booty is great all the way around, taste, calories low, good for everyone wanting to even stay thin... Can’t be beat! Thank you Amazon Prime for bringing it back to us at a much more affordable price!! Love you both!

Pirate's Booty, at least from what I remembered, was pretty tasty. Strong, bold taste.These 1-Ounce bags seems like a watered down version from what I'm used to.They are a light snack, and good to pack with your lunch. I would love for it to have a stronger cheddar taste, but apparently I would be wrong. My wife, and my 1 year old son loves them. They are light and melts in your mouth, so it's a very good grab and go type of snack.If you are like me, who like to be able to taste a strong cheddar flavor... I would not get these 1-ounce bags.But if you are like my wife, and my son who like soft and light taste of the cheddar, you would love these.I'm going to give it a 5 stars since my wife and son loves them.

Pirate's Booty Aged White Cheddar, 1 Ounce (Pack of 24)The puffs were fresh and tasty. It was a Quality product in nice tight package.Personally i prefer a more filled out booty. More product would be nice. Perhaps these are for the parrots or the very skinny pirates.In addition, I was expecting popcorn but that was my own fault for not examining closely enough (though putting *Puffs* in the description would be helpful).So grab yourself some booty and enjoy, if one isn't enough grab another!
