Honestly I would give this TEN stars if I could. I'm completely new to tarot and really just needed a resource I can rely on to get started. This book is absolutely incredible and a blessing! It's simple, well-written, easy to read, concise and even includes a cheat sheet of the cards at the back of the book, plus an index for easy referencing. This book makes learning all 78 cards way less scary and more fun!

I've read quite a few tarot books, but this one is by far the easiest guide to follow. It gives both simplified and detailed explanations for each card, and there are a number of different spreads at the back to choose from. I would recommend this book to anyone embarking on learning about tarot

As a beginner to tarot, I have found this book very helpful and informative. I love the layout of the pages as it makes it easy and quick to find what you're looking for. I would've liked for there to be more information about how tarot links with astrology and numerology as it was only touched on briefly and it also would've been nice to have some examples of a reading so you could have a better understanding of how to link the cards together to see the bigger picture. But overall, I enjoyed this book and found it helpful!

Love love LOVE this book. I’ve been practising tarot readings for a few years but this book has made me realise why I sometimes get very muddled readings. I have only had it a few days but have already learnt so much! Would highly recommend if you’ve been dabbling for a while and want to learn quickly. There are so many other dimensions to reading the cards properly, ever since I’ve had this book all of my readings have made a lot more sense.

I love my book! It’s become my total interpreter for tarot readings. I love how it’s written and the different meanings for career, love life or personal per card. The different spreads at the back too are helpful. Love that it’s large and very clear.

Super easy to read and to come back to for clarifications. Good for someone who is just starting and for those that want to know more. Jessica is amazing explaining about the tarot, I reccomend also watching her Youtube channel.

I am extremely happy with this Tarot card reading book. It has been criticized for being simplistic; well, I like it that way. As a beginner the number of cards to learn and the different meanings seemed overwhelming. Jessica made it understandable by giving us the basic meanings of the cards. To me this is not overly simplistic. I myself can pick up on the nuances of meanings and put them in context, I just wanted some instruction as to where to begin with the cards. Okay, so the format of the book is beautiful with lots of color and thick pages. What I especially like is, I bought a tarot book prior to this one and the cards were not shown in the description of the card, so I had to find the card in my deck, which I had already shuffled, to see the picture on the card. With Jessica's book there is a color picture of each card on the page with the description. Then she gives a very brief explanation of the card, which hits right at the heart of the meaning of the card, and then elaborates on that with how to apply the card in the context of a love, work/career, or personal/spiritual spread and then how that meaning changes if the card is reversed (I'm saving the reversal meanings for after I get the upright meanings.) This book gives me everything I need to get acquainted with the cards and begin to develop communication with my intuition and my loving and amazing guiding forces. Definitely would recommend for beginners wanting to do the same.
