Portfolio II Mesa Border Removable Wallpaper, Blue

Used this border to cover an outdated floral pattern boarder. Easy to install, and the colors perfectly complement the updated decor.

These were easy to install. The pattern matched perfectly to the color palette in my son’s room. They almost look 3-D. Have gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Very happy with this wallpaper border. Contemporary-looking and super-easy to apply. I followed tips from other reviews and just measured, dunked in a bowl of water for about a minute, then positions (easy to shift early on if you need to), and smoothed out with a microfiber cloth. No one said this, but I let it dry for 24 hours without anything or anyone touching it. Just in case. Easy-peasy.

The existing border in our guest room was an ugly flowery one that was there when we bought our house. It was 9” deep and when removed revealed a strip of wall in bad repair and of different texture to the wall below. We decided we had to find another 9” border to replace it and there is little choice in this depth, most being themed for kids, sports or landscapes. I originally saw this one on Wayfair but then searched for it on Amazon where I found it at nearly half the price. It is pre pasted and we wetted it with a paint roller. It went on very easily, especially since no real pattern matching is needed at joins. 4 stars instead of 5 because on drying, even though I had tucked it sharply into the corners, it shrank back a little making a more rounded corner. The same thing happened where I had to make a cut around an obstruction, I butted the cut edges together perfectly but on drying a tiny gap appeared, not a big issue but nonetheless annoying.

This looked amazing in my sons room, easy to stick on the wall and makes the room.

If you are looking for a beachy theme without a lot of design I highly suggest the Mesa border!!. There was a little bit of a learning curve but after that I was able to put the border up in my bedroom in under two hours, all by myself. Beyond thrilled with how the project turned out!!

For a first time wallpaper boarder installation, it went up easily. Just watched a few online videos on boarder installations to see how to do it. It looks great and looks like the picture. The biggest "complication" is finding the repeat when overlapping sections and on inside corners. Not really difficult, just takes some time to find the repeat. We love it.
