I bought a bunch of cheap earphone brands just to see which ones would be best for the money compared side by side. These won for sound quality hands down. Also the wires are stiffer and don't tangle as easily. But it's true you can hear when the wires are touched. Can't have it all.

I ordered these as just simple headphones to have around and take to work and was honestly surprised that they worked so well. I personally don't really use the mic, so I cannot comment on those, but the sound is actually pretty good.

My son said these sounded as good as the $30 pair he broke in less than 2mos. Considering how fast both kids go through them, I'm ordering again for the extras.

Each pair only lasted a week. They are horrible.

This is one of the worst products I have ever wasted my money on. The sound quality is good... If you can get it to work. None of the earbuds properly fit into 3.5mm headphone jack and to get it to work you have to angle or break it in an unnatural way. I only wish I hadn't thrown the packaging away so I could get my money back.
