I’ve recently got into Alexa devices after purchasing two echo dot 3rd gen’s. My wife bought one too and my daughter has got me another for Christmas! (I’m not supposed to know about that one!) All bought during the recent promotion at £18.99 each, bargain!Anyway, first off, I wasn’t overly pleased with the DC lead from the wall plug, trailing to where the echo dots are placed. Not a deal breaker by any means but I like things neat and tidy. Started to search for a solution and found these. There are plenty of similar products from other suppliers but not sold as a twin pack for a very competitive price! So I ordered a pack, paying a pound more for next day Prime delivery but I was happy with that.They arrived today and I eagerly opened the Amazon packaging to reveal an extremely high quality box containing my order. I know that packaging isn’t the be all and end all of judging a product but, my word, I was impressed straight away. Opening the box revealed the two echo dot holders, each within its own protective bag, along with card inserts to prevent the products moving around whilst in transit, again very good.A fitment guide is included and a thank you card from the supplier.Simplicity itself to install, insert the dot with the power socket facing down, this matches a cut out in the bottom edge of the holder. There are four fingers to hold the dot in place, inserted from one side and gently eased the remains two fingers over the edge of the dot and it snapped into place, held very securely. Next is to plug theDC chord back into the dot via the opening in the holder and wind it around the chord storage at the rear of the holder. When you get to the end of wrapping the chord, it just leaves the wall plug at the correct length to insert into the plug holder section of the mount. Extremely neat, perfect fit and no surplus cable to deal with! Excellent.OK, it’s not a mechanical device, so no moving parts to go wrong but the whole thing is a really good idea and stores the dot off the table or work surface etc in a neat way. There is a supplied self adhesive foam spacer that attaches to the rear of the holder, this acts as a spacer to stop the holder moving when plugged in. It works perfectly in my kitchen sockets as I have a row of tiles below the socket, on a normal wall, the spacer isn’t thick enough to stop movement. However, once plugged in, you’re not going to be moving it and it does hold securely with the 3 pin power plug provided with the dot,just thought it worth mentioning. I am so pleased, I’ve ordered another twin pack for the other echo dots!Great product, very well finished and packaging is outstanding!

I picked up a few Echo Dot speakers, when on offer in recent months, including one each for my kids. The main reason was so that, when they're called down for food we can announce / drop in on them so they can't say "We didn't hear you." They also get to use them for music, radio, alarms and - my favourite - the fart noises skill!However, I didn't want the power cables running across furniture and to be as invisible as possible. So, when I was looking for a battery base for my speaker, I looked at other Echo Dot accessories were available. These looked like just what I wanted. The design and style matches the colour of our speakers (black) and contains the speaker, power cable and plug in a single unit.These come with an excellent, colour, instruction manual containing pictures to show you through the set-up process - which is quick and easy. The cabling is now pretty much invisible, and this has the added benefit of making the speakers easily portable from room to room - just unplug from the wall and go.Sound is good, too, and does seem a little louder - as promised. Great value, as well, at £12 for the pair!

The media could not be loaded.  Really tidies up the wires of amazon alexa. Great space saver and looks great.

Pretty pleased, overall. The plastic feels quite brittle, so I wouldn't want to be repeatedly inserting and removing the Dot - I suspect the plastic tabs would snap. It is allegedly ABS so tough enough to survive its intended use. It is very tidy with the wire coiled behind the dot, my only concern is that there might be enough electricity flowing to make it into a heater coil. No CE or BS marking on the product that I can see, so I can only hope that somebody tested this prior to mass manufacture. RoHS compliance (as claimed on the box) does nothing to guarantee that it is safe to use. I don't really expect issues as the power consumption of a Dot is pretty low.The manufacture quality seems good, no sharp edges.The adhesive pad supplied to fix to the back of the ProudBird P5 is too thin to provide support (to prevent the weight of the Dot levering the plug out of the wall) - it won't bridge the gap between the P5 and the wall in a normal UK socket with a UK plug version of the Echo Dot 3rd Generation. The pad, by itself, is useless.The good news is that the UK 3-pin plug system is sturdy enough to support the weight without a stand-off of any kind. If you are worried about it I guess you could stick on anything thick enough to reach your wall. I certainly would if it was a two pin plug system.

We LOVE these! they feel like amazing quality, super easy to set up. the wire just goes around and around, and it’s literally a perfect fit for the cord. there’s a black sticky spongy thing you can attach to the back of the mount so that it doesn’t directly touch your wall, this is good for the bass and damage to the walls. recommend for sure, we may have to buy more but we only have 2 gen 3 and 1 gen 2.

Adesso finalmente è tutto in ordine e i fili non si vedono!!Dopo consigli letti l’unica modifica da fare per poterlo montare verticalmente utilizzando le nostre prese è quella di creare una piccola fessura laterale per poter girare l’alimentatore. Got these for my Alexa dots so they'd be off the counters. They work really well. Putting them in was super simple and I didn't have any issues. It does not block the sound, and have not had any issues with her not hearing me. It might even sound louder now. Great packaging, very gift-able if you were wanting to do that.

Das Produkt kam wie gewohnt, relativ schnell an.Da ich zwei Dots der dritten Generation habe und mich der Kabelsalat immer genervt hat, habe ich mich für den Doppelpack entschieden.Ausgepackt und direkt verwendet. Der einzige "Aufwand" besteht darin, das Kabel zehnmal um das Produkt zu wickeln - aber absolut kein Problem. Passt genau und das Kabel ist richtig aufgerollt und es gibt kein überschüssiges Kabel zu verstauen.Das Netzteil passt auch perfekt und es sieht super aus.Unterschiede im Klang, ob positiver oder negativer Auswirkung konnte ich nicht feststellen.Für mich macht dieser Kauf für alle Alexa Dot Besitzer auf jeden Fall mehr als Sinn - zumal für diesen Preis.Falls Fragen bestehen, einfach melden.Sonst gerne den Nützlich Button drücken :-)
