I was skeptical about the volumizing claim, but it actually works. I washed with this shampoo not even thinking about the claimed volume benefit, and after just one use, I noticed in the mirror that hair was thicker. A few washes later I went back to my old shampoo, and my hair was flat again. Back to Jack Black: thick and volumized. So it’s not permanent across washes and it doesn’t really seem to build up over time, but it is instant and there’s noticeably more volume. Plus it smells wonderful. Crisp and clean. Even if it didn’t have a volumizing benefit, it would be a pleasure to use.

Been wanting to buy this for a few years now. It arrived and was unsure of how it would compare to my present shampoo but it worked really well. Scent is pleasant, not overpowering and very masculine. I used this for a few weeks and noticed a clear improvement in my hair and its volume. I was surprised as to how good this compared to very expensive salon products. I am going to put this into my regular rotation of hair products and probably end up using this product solely as my main shampoo / conditioner within a few months. Recommend!!

This has been my go to shampoo for years now. Its worked great up until the most recent one i ordered. As soon as i opened it i noticed the fragrance was waaaay stronger than usual. Every time i use it, it makes my scalp super itchy. It just proves what people say, there is definitely a correlation between fragrance and negative effects on the body. This stuff smells like oranges to me but, I like the smell of oranges. I don't notice the smell after putting it on. A few women have commented that they like the way my hair smells, although they only said so after sticking their nose in my hair and smelling it. I didn't notice much difference in the volume department, but I have pretty thick hair to begin with. The parts where I am thinning DO look slightly better, but don't expect it to give you a full head of hair or anything. I do like how long you can make a bottle stretch. I use a very small amount like maybe the size of a Nickle when putting it in my hand to apply to my head, and it's enough to get a really thick lather. Overall, I am pretty happy with it!

I was very sceptical about products like this but I'm not getting any younger and my hair line is receding with my hair getting thinner. So after much research I decided to give this a go. Now I have only been using this for 1 week but not only have I noticed a difference but the wife commented on how much different my hair looks. The main difference you will experience immediately is the volume of your hair. Overall I'm very pleased, over long term use I don't know what to expect. So far it's been great.

I’ve been using this since start of august and it actually made a difference to my hair. I have thinning hair so I appear bald. Now my hair has thickened and there appears to be more volume. I use this 2-3 times a week along with the conditioner which definitely should be bought with this. Yes, it’s quite pricey but it’s worth it compared to buying those shampoos in a supermarket etc. And when used properly, it can last quite a while.
