Delishous great tasting

Ok I bought this because I had a hankering for venison jerky. Saw them said why not and got the original flavor. It has a soft texture that will just disappear in your mouth and with a whole lot of marinaded flavor it very similar to a typical jerky you would pickup at any store maybe a bit on the sweeter side. Which if you love this perfect for you honestly its a good flavor. But... not for me I am more a texture eater I like a jerky you can gnaw on a bit, dare I say a bit more dehydrated. Also the marinade nearly overpowered any venison flavor which defeated the purpose because I wanted venison with a bit of jerky flavor. Its good if you like jack links but if you want something different then that try a different brand.

The jerky is definitely very good jerky. All I can say against it is that it didn’t have that distinctive venison flavor. I’ve made my own jerky. Had it made when I’ve paid to have a deer processed. I’m strictly a bow hunter. Ive had seasons where I’ve got 3 deer and could have gotten more. Living where I do the largest bag limit I can remember is 7 if shot in different parts of the state. 3 is plenty for me though so none of the meat gets wasted. Eat venison all year long. Usually grind the biggest share into burger mixed with a little sausage so it’s not too dry. Use the rest to make deer sticks and jerky. Sometimes I’ve had a deer or two processed by one of the shops in the vicinity. The jerky has always had a very distinctive venison taste. This jerky as stated is excellent but could have been beef from what I could tell. I have a couple of dehydrators and what I’ve made or had made, when I just didn’t want to take the time to process my own always has that distinctive flavor where you know it’s venison. I still give this 3 stars and would be 5 if I just wanted jerky.

Tastes good. Could use a little bit more in the package with ann increased portion size but overall good.

It was good but overpriced especially when you open up the package and there’s only three pieces of venison jerky for $10. That’s insane. I will not be buying this product again.

Been looking for a high quality venison jerky. VERY good texture...and the flavor tasted natural, not like some of the other brands I've had that give strange aftertastes. After reading the other reviews about the quantity, I actually weighed what came out of the package on my kitchen scale lol. 2.1 oz! Just over what is claimed on the package! Go ahead and buy and enjoy the communications w/the very friendly owner! He was super accessible and very responsive to my questions!

Super expensive for what you get. Also the alligator has white stuff all over it… is that MOLD? My dumb self still ate a piece for science and it was super hard. This is def spoiled.

I really missed my grandmother's deer jerky, so I looked and found this brand. Tastewise... its the best jerky that I've found. I love that it has a little kick to it in the spices, but next time I'm definitely purchasing the spicy one. It has a great texture and the proper amount of moisture to it. Really is some great jerky, don't think it'll replace the homemade kind though...
