DOOR PUSH PLATE
These door push plates were attached to either side of my front door to stop my dog from scratching the hell out of my front door. They do the job but they could be so much better if they were an inch wider to cover a bigger area.

Just what I was looking for
I needed something for my front door to keep the dogs from scratching it since my daughter had just painted it. They were easy for her to install. Just wish they were just 2" longer but oh well. They look great and the dogs now can not scratch the door.

Missing screws
The plate has 6 screw holes but the package only had 4 screws. Now I have to go find some brass headed screws to match the ones provided or try to find 6 other screws to install it. What kind of quality control fails to see that there are missing screws? The plate is pretty thin but it will work for what I have in mind.

We ordered these to cover up some damage caused by our dogs. It looks really nice, easy to install and it solved our problem!

No es de acero inoxidable
El espesor de la placa no concuerda con la descripción. En la descripción dice textualmente: "Dimensiones del artículo Largo x ancho x alto 42.2 x 15.2 x 1.1 centimeters". El alto (espesor) NO es de 1.1 centímetros. Apenas y llega a 0.1 centímetros (1 milímetro). Demasiada delgada en mi opinión. La descripción resumida dice que el material es aluminio, sin embargo, en la descripción detallada dice que es de acero inoxidable lo cual causa confusión al comprador.

Not solid brass as advertised
Very thin aluminium panel with brass colour one side. Posted in paper bag with no padding and arrived bent in several places as you would expect. Product useless and not fit for purpose. Unfortunately I didnt read the reviews before I purchased. Why doesnt Amazon withdraw the product or correct the description?

product is described as "solid brass construction" which is false.the product is actually sheet aluminum (probably 28 Ga) with a very thin layer of brass electroplated onto one side for a total thickness of 0.034"it is good enough for indoor light-duty purposes but would not stand up to outdoor use when exposed to salt and water
