Tetra-Teknica Essential Series MT-19 Classic Mechanical Metronome for Piano, Guitar, Violin, Drum and More, Color Black

We live in an exceptionally humid area, which I've heard causes problems with metronomes. I had a mechanical one in my household growing up, many years ago, in this same general area and we never had a problem with it, so I don't expect a problem with this one. Following directions helps a lot. If you haven't used one before search YouTube for help. It's very simple to use, but you can damage it. Mechanical metronomes are spring loaded and are therefore a little sensitive if you don't use care. Don't overwind!! I really like this one. We ordered black, whick looks great on our black piano!

I use this for my drumming and works good.. Obviously with drums the TIC TOC has to be loud which oftentimes it isn't so I use this mostly with my practice pad which is A LOT quieter.If your getting this for use with a drumset keep in mind that a lot of times you WILL NOT be able to hear this. In fact I doubt any mechanical Metronome will be that loud.. However, I think this would be GREAT for any other instruments.

Nice little metronome to help my kiddo practice for piano lessons. Anyone gripe is the bell dings little bit even when we're not using it.

This is ok. It works but it is cheaply made. Must use care when using. And in certain settings, especially the slower ones, it's not accurate and jumps. It's ok for a casual user

I bought this after reading the good reviews, unfortunately this metronome is loud with no way to adjust the volume, and after one year of use the knob sprinter knob broke...

It reminds me if the venerable Seth Thomas metronomes that I used many years ago, but it seems like you could wind those and they would last for months. With this one, it works, but I find myself having to rewind it several times during a practice.

Loud enough to hear when you are using it while playing piano. Really like the time signature feature with the bell on the downbeat for 2, 3, 4 or 6 meter.
