Works great and appears durable
Works great. My penny cutter scissors would not cut them. I drew an outline and cut with a utility knife. Attached with Shoe Goo. You will need a way to clamp. I will buy definitely buy again.

Take your time... and these are a great deal
Although thinner and stiffer than the original Birkenstock soles, these Kaneiji soles allowed me to salvage an old pair of Birkenstock Arizonas. Do take your time, though and remember that BIRKENSTOCK SOLES SHRINK WHEN HEATED! So, do NOT use the soles you removed as your template. (Yes, I did make that mistake. Yes, the soles I cut looked suspiciously small. Yes, I ordered another pair of these replacements.) The Kaneiji soles come very large and will need to be cut to (proper) size, which was easy to do with either scissors or a utility knife. I recommend you cut them somewhat oversized and trim them after bonding. Using Contact Cement (recommended) or Shoe Goo, apply three thin coats - two on sandals, one on the soles. Allow to dry completely (at least 20 minutes) between coats and before bonding. After the Contact Cement has adequately dried (20-100 minutes), carefully align the shoe and sole, then apply with plenty of pressure. Take your time to align sole-to-shoe properly, as you cannot shift these once they come in contact. Cutting the soles a little oversized allows you some 'wiggle room'. The soles can be easily trimmed to the shoe size after bonding. Overall, these are a good product at the right price. Thank you for extending the life of my old well-worn Birkis!

Not Thin, if done correctly will last
Perfect rubber soles replacements. The trick is the installation Installation Cutting them down can be done easily with heavy duty kitchen sissors.... Cutting them so only the bottom part of the sole that touches the surface if very important. I did a few templates with cardboard until I was satisfied. I used Barge contact cement. Applied to both surfaces on my porch because of smell. It was hot so it dried quickly. Press on and held all surfaces until look glued, and then after 20 minutes put on moccasins to add my weight. I did not walk but I wanted to add my weight to help the glue set. After a small amount of time, I used a tooth pick to get any of tiny small gaps along the toes by adding a slight amount of glue, let dry, applied pressure, They look solid... I was happy I did not ruin my new moccasins. The important part is not to leaves gaps so dirt can enter. It takes time. Thinner sole replacements would be easier but would not last as long. Because they were new and the leather was suede there was no cleaning or light sanding needed. They came out perfect according to Barge the bond will grow stronger after time....

They are hard to cut but maybe they will wear well

Good value
These work great. I glue them on a pair of used hunting boots and so far so good. The grip is good.

Renew your Favorite Pair of Shoes or Boots
The color was as pictured, the size is large enough for several pairs of women's shoes, a great value. I created a paper pattern tracing the sole of shoe. Once attached to sole with Shoe Goo, let dry for at least 24 hours. Make sure the new sole is flush against the shoe, I used large clips and weights. Once attached trim any excess. The final product will provide a slip resistance surface .

Save your money
I cut them down to size and scuffed up the bottom (as directed) to help with adhesion. Long story short, my still serviceable shoes and these soles were in the garbage after 30 minutes of receiving the package. No way they were going to stay put. Also,, the tread is pretty slick. Now I'm out money and a pair of expensive work shoes that still had some life. Not worth the try.

Size is good , but material does not have the grip or flexibility of rubber.
