Perfect for our family
I love our Berkey. We are a family of two; one adult and one teen. This has been the perfect size for us. I refill it every other day. I use it for my coffee and cooking purposes.The trickiest part was figuring out which way the washer for the spout on the inside is oriented. If your spout leaks, soak the washer in olive oil and then flip it the opposite direction you set it in.

In hindsight I wish I would of bought a larger Berkey,This was perfect for one,had no idea my dog would love the water so muc.h
Amazing ,I use to trick my dog into drinking the tap water, by putting water over her kibbles, With the water from the Berkey , I feel her water dishseveral times a day now. I also can tell a huge difference, the water is very refreshing. The system came packaged perfect.. I found that theBerkey website gives very simple explanation on how to prime the filters, utube video made it look much harder then it is ?

Good Water, Iffy Spigot and Support
This makes swampy well water taste good, which is enough to make me basically happy. The spigot isn't long enough to extend out over a sink to catch drippage, however, and there's no extension available that I can find. The sight-glass spigot appears to be considerably longer; I'd buy one right this minute except that the Amazon reviews indicate massive leakage problems. But what really torques me is that the Berkey company itself doesn't have an e-mail address listed on its web page, so I can't conveniently write and ask them questions about said sight-glass spigot or any other aspect of the Berkey. (There is a phone number and snail-mail address listed, but I keep odd hours and prefer to communicate in writing for clarity's sake.) This is IMO poor customer service, irritated the heck out of me, and cost them a star on a product I otherwise like very much. I'm going to have to write them a snail-mail letter, I suppose. Hope they enjoy paying for return postage!

Best water ever!
This is our second Berkey. I started out with the travel Berkey because I didn't know how it would change the way we drink water! I received this larger one for Christmas and now the whole family is using it! I LOVE my Berkey! Amazing product!
