Great if needed to adapt to the newer style attachments
Actually bought this to convert an old Cuisinart discontinued stand mixer to accept the newer Kenwood attachments. Would have worked well but found out the attachments weren’t readily available. Was able to buy quality old style Kenwood attachments that worked fine with my model without this attachment, so it was returned. Would be wonderful for anyone needing to a adapt to the newer attachments though.

Outstanding adapter! Works on Viking mixers.
This is a robust adapter that is OEM for KENWOOD mixers. It also works for Viking mixers. It adapts from the slotted type PTO to the star type. This allows Viking users to use KENWOOD KAX accessories. This is a nice workaround since Viking no longer offers accessories.

I’m sure it (they!) will work fine.
Oddly Kenwood produced attachments for their mixers for probably 50+ years before changing the front attachment from being “a thing that turns” to a different “thing that turns but incompatible with the old things that turned”. Go figure… At least they did make this adapter, which is reasonably priced considering… Min order of 2 (hmmm…) means I’ll have a spare… Some incorrect pictures on this page currently show the “other” adapter that allows use of old attachments on new machines, which is the opposite of what this one does (allow new attachments on old machines).

Does not work with KitchenAid attachments.
Bought this item believing that it would allow the use of the KitchenAid pasta attachments. It does not. Did not believe that the description on the product page made that very clear.

Cumple su función pero no calza perfectamente. Genera cierto movimiento. Tenía que comprar dos piezas como mínimo (lo tuve que hacer, no me quedaba opción... aunque sólo necesito un adaptador). Probé ambas piezas y en los dods casos sucede lo mismo... el adaptador se mueve estando ajustado al máximo posible. Esto hace que el accesorio que conectas a través del adaptador, no queda estable y fijo como uno esperaría. Kenwood debiera rediseñar esta pieza. No está a la altura de la calidad de la batidora Chef Titanium.

Necesita algun esfuerzo par acoplar la picadora, pero una vez hecho funciona perfectamente.
