I've been working on making our bedroom a lovely little haven for husband and myself. Because I'm mentally a child and have a very accommodating husband, bedroom is in a space-inspired decor look. Think galaxies and stars that just vomited all over our room. I wanted some ambient lighting for when we're hanging out watching TV, and I had originally intended to put this around the TV like I've seen in some pics. But then when I got it I realized it was just so pretty and LONG that I wanted to put it around our ceiling. I need to get more of this because our room is pretty big, but it is really lovely.The adhesive was awesome even though we have very textured walls...our house was built in the late seventies and is very much a relic of its time. I did end up having to rehang part of it because I didn't place it correctly since I am short, but my husband handled that, although I don't think it was much of a challenge for him. When he did that he reinforced it for me.I was happy to see there is an opening for attaching more of the light strip at the end, so ostensibly you could just keep adding to it.The remote control is extremely detailed with lots of color options. You can also kick up the light to very bright or soften it. When I was hanging out in my room and didn't want it to be too dark, I put on the brightest white and my room had a super Star Trek vibe.So anyway, I freaking love this stuff. It looks amazing and was easy to install. Just a few more steps and my room will feel like it's one holodeck away from the delta quadrant.

The media could not be loaded.  I have to start by saying I have wanted a set of lights like these for a few years now since I first saw them underneath the cabinets at my boyfriend's sister's house! So when my bff got a set last month and showed me how cool hers was, well I had to have my own!!! The first box I received had a broken remote which I wasn't upset about at all because sometimes these things happen & I haven't even really picked a spot to put these yet anyways. LOL! I just clicked to exchange for a new set with no problem and the new set arrived the very next day! The original & replacement actually shipped the very next day after ordering, which I loved!! As soon as the box was set at my door I grabbed it, opened it & plugged them in to try them out and they are GORGEOUS!!! The colors are so pretty, the remote is easy peasy to use & it comes with an instruction manual to even set custom buttons on the remote! I can't speak to the adhesion of the tape as I think I'm going to hold off on putting them up until we move to our new place, although I've been contemplating putting them around the sides of the bed frame. I'll definitely be buying a few more sets of these when I have some extra money again!

It's easy to set up and the options of colors are great. I would recommend it if your lookingto party or have a sleepover with friends. It's also good for any holiday occasions to set the atmosphere or mood of your place. You can set the brightness to your preference.My only gripe is with the timer function for the remote. The instructions give no clear details how to program the timer function. There were frustrating times when the lights turn off on its own after 1 or 2 hours or the lights choose to change to another color when I didn't want it to. After a few trial and errors I got a brief idea how to use the remote, but it comes with a minor learning curve.I have another light that is pretty straightforward. Just turns on and off when I want but have less options.Other than that, its a very good product. It has a variety of colors to choose from.

Good light strip with one big issue. After I have turned it off several hours later it turns itself back on. The only work around is to unplug it every night, not what I really want to have to do.

I ordered two sets of lights to cover my room and they each came in a differently branded box. Both worked great together regardless. Be aware when peeling off the tape though, if you're not careful you'll pull off some of the adhesives too and will have problems getting some of the areas to stick.

I bought a few sets of these for a game room. After about a year they started failing. Now after 2 years, only one set still turns on. It was a lot of work installing these on the high ceiling, so its very dissappointing that they did not last

Works well - mounted to exterior of RV. Being outside I didn't want to rely on the adhesive alone, so used screw-in clips every 1-foot. After ~10 months it seems to be holding with no sags between clips. I got this specific model because of the RF remote - which does work without line-of-sight, but seems I have to push the buttons several times to get it to respond and is only 5 feet away. YMMV.

With most other led strips that i have purchased the adhesive is very cheap but on this one it never cane off and i love the color variety. Also some feel cheap but this one works like a 40$ lgb strip and is half the price! Im surprised its not on a tech youtube channel yet
