Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is the second of these security sentries that I have ordered, and I am very satisfied with the product that I received. This camera in particular has very high-definition camera quality, with crisp images and a very wide angle view. The camera was very easy to set up with the MIPC app, where I can manage and view multiple cameras on the same platform. The camera can be remotely accessed and controlled using a mobile phone, where you can zoom in, tilt, and pan the camera to view the whole room 360 degrees. Even at night, the camera is excellent with night vision infrared sight. With motion detection alarms sent straight to your phone, you always know if there is movement in the camera’s line of sight, making it an excellent pet-monitor. Additionally, if equipped with a micro-SD card, it will automatically record the maximum amount of time allowed by the card’s storage, and overwrites the oldest files so that you never have to manually clear it. All recordings and motion detection snapshots are available for easy access from the MIPC app. Overall, this is a great security camera/home sentry for many purposes and I highly recommend it!

I use this camera in my home currently to watch my dog that likes to get into the trash when I am away but recently purchased two for my parents home for them to protect their house. The camera quality is good enough during the day or night time to identify any movement and faces. You can see my dad’s placement is towards the front of the house and he has the motion detection recording set to capture any one coming to the front door. He uses an SD card (which will have to be purchased separate if you don’t have one but the company usually offers a promotion to receive a free one) to store any recordings. The app is also extremely easy to use to setup the camera, move it or zoom it (360 degrees) and view recordings from your phone. My dad is not tech savy at all and he knows how to use these apps. We plan on using this latest addition to add extra security to my mother’s salon next. I am loyal to these cameras as they always get the job done with ease.

I have a previous version of this camera, so I was excited to have the upgraded version of the camera. This upgraded version has remedied issues I had with its predecessor. It's quiet when the camera position is being adjusted in the app, which I prefer over the noise my other camera makes as it moves. The pictures and videos are much clearer on this camera than the previous version. I found it relatively painless to add a second camera to the app. I have motion alerts set in the app, so I can then check in the app. Lastly, the issues with sound were corrected in the upgraded. The sound is clear when using the the microphone feature, which wasn't the case with the previous camera. I have found customer service to be very helpful and replied promptly to address any concerns or questions I may have. Overall, I am quite satisfied with this camera and highly recommend it!

Let me start by saying this is my third kamtron camera. So far this is my favorite brand for a simple and easy to use camera for Monitoring inside the home as well as my dogs when I’m away. It’s super easy to set up, you can get a free micro as card if you fill out a card and email the company, the app for using this camera is super user friendly and works very well. I had no issues connecting to WiFi but you have to make sure you connect to 2.4gb WiFi not 5gb. I’ve had no problems with this camera and would purchase it again. It also has a good response time when rotating the camera to pan the room. Other cameras I’ve used have not. I will be using this camera to keep an eye on my dog when I’m not home. You can also check in even miles away. I live in the USA and I was able to peek inside my home from Colombia. No issues.

I loved this camera so much that I got a second one. It works flawlessly and it's amazing how well it works - especially for the price. I like to keep an eye on my dog while I'm away and this camera does the job. It even has night vision which is really clear. I'm a huge fan of these cameras and will 100% recommend getting one if you are looking for a security camera.

I have used several other brands before, but in the last year or so, I only bought Kamtron cameras. Now I have 7 of them and so far I'm very satisfied with their products. The quality and price ratio is unbeatable. What I like the most is the image quality, especially on the 3MP and 4MP models, the image is super sharp, you can easily read the license plates from the vehicles passing your property (if you need it). The transfer speed (wireless network) at the highest resolution is still very good, the delay is a small fraction of a second. All promised functions are working well. The night view is excellent, bright and has the right contrast. The two-way communications are very useful. The installation, in my opinion, is super simple. The only glitch I found is with the desktop software. When you get to the Time Zone setting, it freezes. Summary: they are great cameras and highly recommmend them if you are in a budget, but even you have more money to buy more expensive systems. Cheers.

This camera would get 5 stars if it had ONVIF support. Lately there has been a move by Kamtron and other camera manufactures to not support this open standard so that people move to their proprietary services. They then try to sell additional services, like online storage. This is unfortunate. Functionally, there are no problems at all with this camera and it works well for anyone wanting a quick and easy setup. But what happens when Kamtron closes up shop (already happened with another camera vendor I bought from)? Or decides that they don't want to support the current protocol in favor of a new protocol? What if you as a user want to use open source camera tools? If any of these things happen you are out of luck, so be aware of that.
