ESP LTD EC256BLK Electric Guitar, Black

Playability is excellent. It came intonation tuned, so I didn't have to give it for a setup. Love the handling. Less weight. Played it right out of the box. Only one brawback is that I cannot fix a scratch guard (Les Paul style guard) on it due to the control knobs being placed right below the bridge pickup. So I just have to be careful while strumming, as to avoid putting scratches on the body. Overall it's an excellent instrument. Couldn't ask for more for now.

In the description it is mentioned Made in USA.. but after buying i found it a chinese product. very disappointed.

Versatile guitar and lightweight. Both the LTD pickups offer bright and warm tones. The extra jumbo jatoba fretboard is perfect for shredding. Then the push-pull tone knob is great for classic styles as well. Plus, this is Indonesian made with incredible finishing. Big thanks to Chennai Musicals for the nice packaging!

Since the China ban i stopped working with dealers and supplier who sell or supply Chinese products i also removed tons of items from my music shop will be hopefully soon replacing them with made in Indonesia

Super guitare. C 'est ma première Les Paul et je la trouve magnifique avec son liseré blanc. Le son me convient parfaitement.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best “cheaper” guitars available. If you are looking to find an exceptional “beginner” guitar for someone - this is the one you want. Love this thing!

I am happy with this ESP . . ..I had a PRS which looked awesome but had high action. I wanted to turn a few screws . . .but thought the factory settings were where it was at. Regardless, I needed a new guitar and came around this beauty (black and gold) and realized it was a decent guitar to have. It wasn't a PRS . . .but I was able to lower the action on this guitar in a few minutes. Just a turn of a screw and there it was. The pick ups on this thing (humbuckers) are gold and sound jazzy on the rhythm setting. The high treble switch gave me decent solo room for distortion . . . and sounds great through a good amp. I don't like the fretboard inlays . . .but I'm getting use to them. I like dots on the fretboard to help locate where I am. I play a classical with only one dot on the seventh fret and I get lost, from time to time. This guitar has dots running up and down the fret board. The tuning heads are solid and stay in tune. This is not a problem . . .again . . .this ESP is not a PRS . . .but for the money . . .I made a good purchase and I'm happy with this brand.

Received this item ahead of schedule. I unpacked the item at 7 pm gave it a quick tune and was playing away happily by 7.30 pm. Huge range of tones and styles thanks to the coil split, quality and finish are good but there is a slight scuff on the cut away near the binding on my guitar which I am not worried about. The neck and fret board are very nice. The neck profile is pretty thin, almost as thin and similar in style to my Ibanez SA360. By LP standards the body is slim and comparatively light but you will find this guitar a little heavier if you are used to most Strat style guitars. All in all the LTD 256 BLK; looks good, plays well, is well made, has lots of variation and sounds good...what's not to like! Note! My guitar states made in Indonesia on the head stock not Vietnam!
