Poor Manufacturing
The rollers had little spikes of plastic that stick out due to poor production. There may be one or two spikes of this plastic extruding from one roller. The rollers end up snagging my hair as a consequence leading to split ends. A lot of the rollers in the pack were unusable for this reason.

I bought a previous set of these rollers, but these are better quality especially if you use them with end papers. I cannot for the life of me think where I put the previous rollers. Its not like they could get up and walk, so I can only assume that they rolled away.

There is nothing magnetic about these curlers they are same as you could buy in the seventies
