Great Bang for your Buck!
I built a bass drum using a banjo resonator and heavy - 1 inch stiff foam board. I used a Piezo Transducer inside, so baically it acts much like a drum trigger. I ran it through a bass amp and adjusted EQ for a tight bass with lots of low end. All I needed was a cheap beater. I ordered this kick pedal and I couldn't be happier. For the money it was well built and very sturdy. It's nice and responsive - quick smooth recoil. Heck of a deal. High quality for low price. Now, it doesn't have the red paint as in the picture - just brushed metal with swiss cheese holes in but I it still looks great. Nothing you will be ashamed of on stage or in front of other musicians. Need a good quality pedal for a 20 spot and change/ This is a great choice and you wont be disappointed. As a DIY'er and cheap skate I couldn't be more impressed.

Budget Percussion
Feels very light, which for me is not the most appealing as I like the weight personally. The pedal itself doesn't have a crazy amount of give as a result, which ends up meaning smaller foot motions will get the job done, which is ideal for fast playing. That being said, hard notes are harder to hit, if you couldn't guess. The chain that connects your beater to the pedal has a decent amount of wiggle room, which I initially thought would be annoying during play but honestly it hasn't caused me any issues.Sure, it's not going to be on par with pedals that are hundreds of dollars or more, but as far as practicality and functionality go, this is a wonderful tool and I would buy this again without a second thought.

Not just for beginners!
I've been a drummer for nearly 25 years, and I've been through a lot of gear. Most of it was flashy and solid and expensive. Lately I've been gigging a ton and I'm more into lightweight and packable gear, so I went looking for a simple kick drum pedal that wouldn't break the bank that would fold flat. This pedal delivers. it's got zero bells and whistles and zero frill. It's simply a lightweight, modest kick pedal that folds flat and does its job well. Because of the holes in the footboard, playing barefoot is a bit weird, but if you play in Converse Chucks like I do, it's perfect.

Great value for the low price
My boys were gifted a kids PDP set but the pedal it came with was really cheap and barley functioned. We replaced it with this. It's sturdy and good quality could easily sell for more.

Better than it should be.
I play jazz. Combos, big band, dixieland. I don't smash or speed pedal (I wanted to put that out there first, because I can't attest to how it would handle that stress.) I own several higher end pedals from Sonar, Yamaha, and played for a long time on a Ghost pedal. I keep coming back to this pedal. Maybe it's because it isn't as smooth and I like a little resistance, maybe because it's very light weight, I just really like it. I can chuck it into my hardware bag and not worry about it. It's never let me down, it's never broken down. It is much better than it has any right to be at the price. I use this as my main and have the higher end pedals as back ups, but if you are looking for something "just in case", this is the pedal for you.

Works Great - Priced Great
It was fast and easy to set up on arrival and works perfectly in the kit I use in the church worship band. And the price was perfectly economical - perfect for the low-use scenario for which it was bought.

fantastic price.
I order this item write away and just knew they had it miss marked. Guess what they did!!! As soon as i purchased it the price tripled. It is still a good drum kicker pedal for one of my suitcase drum kits.

Great pedal for the price
I purchased 2 of these pedals as I wanted practice pedals for my electronic drum set with 2 kick drums. I was really surprised by the quality and how well they perform. I have been playing with high ends pedals like the DW8000 and Pearl Demon Drive, and this one is a bargain at 10% of the cost. It has just enough adjustability for most players. The main thing I really like is the length of the pedal board, which is in the category of long boards to me. The friction and spring tension was good enough to reach 200 bpm. As a downside, the stability of the pedal on the floor is not great, so I had to add velcro strips under the heel section. But no issue that can't be fixed with a little creativity.

Buen pedal
Muy buen pedal, aunque es un pedal económico, es muy bueno, su diseño de superficie lisa, hace que puedas hacer los dobles golpes con mayor facilidad, claro qué influye mucho la técnica!

Fits my electric drum
I added this pedal to my Roland Electric drum TD-V6. This pedal fits perfectly and works like it should. Quality is surprisingly good for the price. Will update if any issue arises.

Good value
Solid kick pedal. Good value for money. The only irritation is that I’ve found the way the screws are on this thing means it needs to be tightened every once in a while & my name brand pedals don’t. But as long as you don’t mind checking that it’s right before you play then it is a solid choice
