Rear wiper on VW Passat
Hubby noticed my rear wiper needed changing and ordered this one. Should have been an easy swap, but my old one had corroded so he had to chop off the corrosion before fixing the new one in place. But now it works perfectly.

What it says on the tin
Fits well, be advised you need to make sure the arm is lined up correctly before putting in its final place otherwise you will need to potentially cut off as the silver locator on the arm is slightly tapered and once in place, it will not come off

Wiper arm as OEM
Liked that it came with a replacement wiper blade.But no details or instructions of any kind included.Had to resort to using a dremmel and grinder disc to remove the broken arm pcarefully to remove from the tapered motor drive shaft without damaging the threads.

2 parts incompatable
the wiper did not fit the wiper arm. had to buy another.

May help with fitting
Note to others if you buy this, you may need to hack saw off the nut which has ridges on your car, mine would not move making the new arm look like it didn’t fit . My experience would have been better if just basic instruction were in the bag, an image showing how and where it fits onto the bolt. Time wasted on you tube could have been avoided (if your confused worth a look to see tools and how to cut it off, easy job). The quality of the arm looks good enough, not going to knock it for quality as I could go to the dealer having a far worst experience. I paid £14.99 December 2023.
