Works great, but the blade MUST be SHARP.
I got this saw guide because I can't cut a straight line using a circular hand saw (even using a fence). I didn't find it to be very difficult setting my Dewalt saw up, and the guide works like a charm. Just lay the white plastic edge on the line you want to cut and cut away, no clamping necessary. The accuracy is fine for the home projects that I under take. The only warning I have is that you MUST use a SHARP blade. Plywood and OSB are notoriously hard on saw blades. The only time the Truetrack didn't work for me was when I tried to use an old blade that was dull and needed replacing. The cut wandered a quarter of an inch above and below the line, and destroyed the plastic chip guard. Put on a new blade, and back to perfect results.

Better than a table saw
Works great. I think it’s better than a table saw. The set up takes roughly an hour. Only made one mistake. When mounting the zero clearance block make sure you mount it at the front of your saw. The instructions weren’t clear on this. But it makes super straight cuts. You’ll want to buy the clamps too. Also, The anti chip strips can get a little beaten up after some use, especially on the 45 degree cut side. Wish it came with spares.

Very accurate, I use this instead of my nice table saw now
I own the Tru Trac and the extension. The setup of the saw guide takes a little time to true the blade, but it is worth it. I was making some cabinet doors for the first time out of Oak one by fours and needed to trim about 1/32" from the doors at a taper to get them to fit correctly. The Trac is perfectly balanced and allows one to cut small tapers very accurately even on smaller pieces of wood- You just have to put a smaller piece of equal thickness to balance the guide and it will sit perfectly. Simply measure and mark both side and the saw will cut true, whether straight or at a taper. The only time you need to use a clamp in my experience is with a warped sheet of wood or particle board. If you are working by yourself and want a portable accurate ripping device, this is the best money you will spend

Works well
Installing on my saw took a little time but was relatively easy. The non-slip base works way better than I expected. I was sure I was going to need to clamp things in place but after a few cuts I had full confidence in it staying in place and it never failed. Only complaint I have is the edge, which you use for alignment, seems to get nicked up on virtually every cut I make, making it slightly less accurate over time. But once you learn to account for that (align using the blade if precision is critical) it's a perfect addition to the workshop.

Great design, works great so far, but need more time to fully evaluate.
It was difficult to install the True Trac guide plate to the bottom of my circular saw. Having said that, it is understandable because it is designed to be universal, so that it can be installed on any circular saw. i had to call tech support twice because their instructions were hard to follow. However their tech support was wonderful. They were very helpful. On the second call, I actually spoke to the the designer of the system. He told me to call at anytime and there is not a problem that he hasn't seen. I have only used the system once to rip six inch stock into one inch square strips. it worked great. The anti-chip feature really works. it beats ripping on my Shop Smith table saw. This is much safer with no kickback. My use of the system is to break down 2 x 4 foot sheets of pegboard Into small pieces. I haven't had a chance to do that yet, but i suspect it will work great. Therefore I'm giving them four stars instead of five.

It works great on a 3/4" X 4' X 8' maple plywood
It arrived on Friday and I assembled it in about an hour. It works great on a 3/4" X 4' X 8' maple plywood. I purchased a new Black & Decker circular saw for exclusive use on the Track Saw. I figured the money I saved on not buying the others for 5 to 20 times the price of other methods was worth dedicating a saw to it. Only caveat is: when cutting the chip edge, move the saw VERY slow. The chip edge is very brittle and will chip off tiny pieces of the edge. I used the combination blade that came with the new saw. I should have used a smooth cut plywood blade. The nicks do not seem to be a problem, it just offends my sense of doing things right. NO MORE CLAMPING OF DUBIOUS STRAIGHT EDGES. Great Product! and it is made in the good old USA. I recommend it to all wood butchers.

Don't wait like I did.
It took a couple of hours to set up my 30 year old Craftsman corded saw. I wish I had bought one years ago. Breaking down 3/4 maple is a breeze with a smooth cut blade. I was amazed at how clean the cuts are and that I didn't even need to use any clamps. Just set it on line... perfect every time.
