Honeywell Home CT31A1003 Heat/Cool Non-Programmable Thermostat, Beige

Works as advertised works on heating or cooling. Installed one on my mother's air conditioner and 1 in my garage for my overhead heater , they work very well.

I am using this thermostat to control a 12VDC relay which is controlling a high voltage/current relay in the fan circuit. Has been working fine so far.

Works amazing, super easy to install came very well packaged with all hardware included. Highly recommended for the ease of operation, value easy to read and saves me purchasing batteries. Hope this helps jblair

I have used this thermostat for several years and have found it trouble-free. After trying out a Nest thermostat and not liking it, I purchased another one. Unfortunately, it was defective, and Honeywell didn't seem to support this model. Frustrated, I initiated a return, and Amazon promptly sent me another one. I compared the two, and I could clearly see the problem, which was obviously a result of poor quality control. The replacement works perfectly and I expect many years of use from it. I am a licensed electrician.

Replaced the programmable digital one as it was screwing up. This was a great replacement.

This is the most basic thermostat on the market, and I bought it to replace the very same model that the landlord had in our condo. I would have waited for the landlord to replace it, but at this cheap price it was faster and easier for me to take care of it myself. The problem with the old one was that the relay had stiffened up with time and we had to turn the temperature way above what we really wanted to get it to even come on, then the condo would get way too hot because of the high temperature setting. That means that, to avoid waking up in the middle of the night in a pool of sweat, we basically didn't use the heat at night. The new one works as it should, but because we already had a problem with the same model I am not convinced of its longevity. If this were my house and not a rental, I would put in something better.

Works perfect - did not require a level - directions are very detailed and easy to follow. Been in and working for months.

Thermostat sticks on, wont turn off after starting the air conditioner. Had to switch back to my original thermostat. Threw it in the trash. Thats where it belongs. This didnt last one month.
