Bulk Herbs: Juniper Berry (Organic)

Wonderfully dried to levels useful to my brewing of root boor syrup.. My first purchase of Juniper Berries was from Penzey's Spices, and those were far drier...like black pepper or mustard seed (as were the ones I got from McCormick's I think). Thus, if you are familiar with very, very dry berries, these might be more moist than you expect. However, they have a great flavor and I personally can't wait to try them in some German rotkohl!

My berries got here faster than expected. The were perfectly dried, not crumbly. I loved the little personal note that was written on my invoice, you don’t get that sort of thing from big corporate. I will definitely be doing more business with these guys!

I use this when making a brine for brisket. The value for the amount I got was good.
