This is an EXCELLENT woven cotton cloth hammock. The bed fabric is substantial & breathes; the suspension cords are very sturdy & the end knotting is well executed. I upgraded from my 30 year old 1 person woven cotton hammock to this Double Brazilian Cotton Hammock. This hammock has a lot more room despite its bed being only 14.5 inches longer & 17 inches wider than my old hammock. Overall length is 1 foot longer. The price point is very good for the quality of the hammock. There is mounting hardware( 2 screw in eyes w/hooks) included that is very robust. The stuff sack is a nice touch for storing the hammock.

The quality of the material is good - it seems strong, yet is soft to the touch and could be nice to relax in. However, comfort-wise, I have to give it a solid "meh ... "No matter how I tried hanging it, this hammock is constantly trying to roll me out out of it. If I attempt to lay in the center, it rolls me quite appreciably to one side.Maybe the ropes were wrapped around the metal eyes wrong, maybe I got a oddball one or maybe it's just the nature of this particular hammock.If you're looking for a stable hammock that doesn't try and roll you out of it, you may want to consider another one.

I have a Vivere (sp?) hammock stand and I left it out in the rain while I was doing some work on my covered porch, where it currently resides. I tried to salvage the old hammock but it was seriously moldy and mildewy, so when I saw how inexpensive this was, I tossed my old one and am happy to report that this fits perfectly on the stand. It's also much soft than my original. Can't speak to longevity but it's been lovely thus far.

We've only had this hammock five days, so I'll update my review if there is reason to later on. But so far, this hammock hanging from our apple tree and fence post is the best thing to happen this summer! I just ordered another one, because my five kids all love to be out there so much. (Though two or three can fit on the hammock comfortably.) This will get so much use this summer, and I love to see the pretty neutral hammock hanging there under the shade of the tree. My twin boys and I have read books out there together every day this week, and we're excited to keep up that tradition all summer and fall.FYI I have been taking it down and bringing it in in the evening, just to preserve the life of it, and so it won't be wet from the sprinklers when the kids want to lounge in it first thing in the morning. We attached it with carabiners, so that's very simple to do.

This appears to be the exact same thing that came on our hammock when we bought the whole thing. That one lasted more than two years and would still be going except for our dog. This hammock appears to be sturdy and comfortable. It was also easy on the pocket.

Make sure you have GIANT carabiners if your planning on putting it indoors. Like BIG ones; 4" or better but the get expensive. The ends of the hammock are made really well and reinforced with a teardrop style metal grommet. We ended up making ours work with two 6" long pieces of chain and a Screw Lock Carabiner. It was allot cheaper than the 15$ for one 4" SS carabiner at Ace Hardware and we were still able to use the carabiner and wall mount we bought.Other than that the item was exactly as pictured. It's a great soft canvas looking texture, and was exceptionally made and put together.The only "sorta" issues I had was that it had a "musty beach house dampness", type of smell. (Other customers noticed this as well in a few other reviews.) It wasnt necessarily terrible but definitely noticeable, especially if you plan on putting it inside. musty, beach house, type of smell. Infact, I just might do that in the next week, the dang thing so comfortable. Its pretty freaking huge across the middle too. My son makes this cocoon thing while shouting "CATERPILLAR STYLE!"... I nearly died. Lol

My whole family loves to hammock. We have 'camping' hammocks - just really lightweight ones that pack up super tiny - that everyone brings to family get-togethers but I wanted something a little bit more substantial for everyday yard lounging. Let me tell you - this is it!!This hammock is SO big and comfy. I could lay in it all darn day! I was even able to sit in it with two of my young nieces without any problem. Feels like it's high quality and will last. I definitely won't be just leaving it up all summer long. It's something I plan to put up each time I want to use it which is no problem at all.The one downside is that it did have a bit of a musty smell when I first opened it up. It wasn't terrible and aired out almost immediately. It wasn't noticeable by the time the hammock was hung and I laid in it.

I have been searching for a hammock that plainly loops through the fabric on the ends as it is the most durable and sturdy. The ones that loop through as a slip knot will eventually unravel and you will be on your back busted over your hammock frame when you least expect it. This one is great and has the added bonus of being super roomy and a nice comfy fabric. Highly recommend.

Great material, very comfortable. The metal eyelets on each end didn’t stand up to the weight and bent on the first use. I think the a fabric alone should support the continued use of the hammock.
