Fit was perfect. Sweeps easy and keeps the water in the ...
Old sweep had worn and separated in the middle. It was one inch wide as was the replacement. Old sweep had a small round bead along the top edge, the replacement had a slightly larger bead along the top. My shower door required removal of an aluminum strip that was holding the sweep in place. I put the new one in and because of the larger bead, the aluminum strip did not screw down all the way. I removed the new sweep and, with an Exacto knife, shaved the front of the bead down to the thickness of the old bead. A simple procedure. After putting the shaved sweep back on the door, the aluminum hold down piece fit perfectly. However the sweep was dragging a bit too much at the bottom. So I removed the sweep piece one more time and cut approximately 1/8 inch off the bottom and put the sweep back on the door. Fit was perfect. Sweeps easy and keeps the water in the shower. Took a little work but easy enough that anybody should be able to do it.

Does the job as well or better than the others I've tried.
These are difficult to install. But every single other one I've tried over the years has been at least as difficult to install. These work. They do their job. Perhaps a bit too stiff, but I'm not sure what would happen if they were less so. They might not block the water enough if that was the case. I'm glad I bought them.

It is what it is
The vinyl/plastic is soft enough to make it easy to work with but I found the 3/32" bulb to be perhaps a bit wider than my original sweep and had to struggle quite a bit to get it to insert into my shower door. Finding parts for old doors is rather difficult and I was able to make this work reasonably well for my need but it would be nice if CRL offered a greater range of dimensions. No major complaints about it but I wasn't delighted with the product either.

Good range of choices, good product
This was inexpensive and delivered to my door. I installed it within just a few minutes. Checking on the web site, I discovered that I could have bought this at Lowes for a little less money but a whole lot less convenience!

Great Shower
Was delivered quickly, as usual, and installed easily. The only problem is that my wife is very short and the selector valve is located high up where the shower is attached to the water pipe. She cannot reach it without assistance.Works great with a good drenching shower when both parts are turned on.

Make sure to get correct height
This fitted my out swing door with detachable sweep and U-channel on curb. The seal must be in the channel with the door closed. Leave sweep on door and slide this in. Then trim the length so the seal will cover the bottom and fit fully inside the u-channel.

works great
This worked great on my shower door to replace the old cracked seal/sweep. The bulb head was a little larger than the original, but the 1" height was correct, so it worked fine. The bottom edge does seem to be beveled on one side. I installed mine backwards, but didn't realize it was directional until after installing it. It didn't seem to matter in my setup, so I didn't take the time to correct it.

Shower door sweep
The item does the intended purpose, but is very stiff and drags across the bottom of the shower stall making it hard to open and close the shower door. If it was pliable and rubbery, it would make opening and closing the door easier. On Edit Feb 27, 2011-it's been less than a year and this strip has torn away from the track in the center where it attaches to the door. It was always hard to open and close the shower door with this strip. The only good thing about this strip was it was clear, so you could see it to clean it. I would not buy this again.
