adheres well
My elderly Dad had an indwelling catheter for a few months and it was very hard to find something that kept the catheter secure when he walked. Most items of this nature fall off and didn't really work. This stuck well and stayed in place. It does have a larger area that adheres to skin so make sure you are sure its placed well for multiple positions (walking, sitting, etc) because once you stick it on, it stays and you can't really keep taking it off to move it if you got it wrong. He did not have any skin issues from it.

Good alternative to Bard StatLock & fits all types/sizes of catheters
I am a prostate cancer survivor with a permanent indwelling catheter or SPC. I found these to be a good alternative to the Bard StatLock. I tried these after having trouble getting the correct StatLock from the local medical supply store. Most adults can use StatLock FOL0102 with either latex or silicone catheters. They do need to be positioned differently than a StatLock. The adhesive is not as aggressive as the StatLock but they did last me about a week with showers every day. This stabilization device is a "one size fits all" in regards to catheter size or gender. This device comes off much easier than a StatLock though both can be removed with alcohol soaked cotton ball. The way I apply either of the mentioned stabilization devices is to start by clipping the hair on my leg with a beard trimmer with no guard. I began doing this after being asked by a nurse if I wanted my leg shaved before applying a StatLock. I then clean the area with rubbing alcohol and let the area dry. As I mentioned above, I found this device needed to be located a little be differently so it may be helpful to attach the catheter to the stabilization device and then decide the best location. If someone has compromised or delicate skin this device would be a better choice over the StatLock.

Not as good as it once was.
Product is not as good as it once was. Is not adhering to the skin as it once was, only lasting 2 to 3 days securely. That is making for a very expensive product. Will try something different next time.

it works pretty well
the adhesive on the back is good for 3+ days. the velcro clasp is ok and the tube will slide after it's in heavy use.

Quality has gone down hill.
For many years I've used a cloth Dale strap to secure my upper leg bag tubing to my thigh. I started using this stabilizing device for many months now and they have been great...until my last 3 or 4 orders. (I had it on auto delivery and kept forgetting to cancel.) Those orders had terrible adhesion. Each device lasted less than a day which was very different than the ones I received in previous orders. After the 1st package fail I was super careful with making sure to use an alcohol swab to clean my skin and wait for it to completely dry before attaching but it made zero difference. I'm not sure if they've changed the type of adhesive they are using or what but its been so disappointing!

Happy with this purchase!
I am very happy to have found these! It is by far the best quality I've found to hold my Foley catheter secure! The tape stays adhered until I WANT to change it vs. HAVING to change it because tape was curling up. It's also nice because you can place the Ballon port thru the velcro, which holds it securely. I will continue my monthly shipments.

worked great
My husband had a catheter for 6 weeks while at home. I had take care of the cath since his arm was in a sling and he was unable to use his dominant hand. This stabilizer stayed on very nicely and worked well. I did have to shave his leg where the attachment went otherwise changing out the anchor was painful.
