Excellent product. Measured correctly and you will love how it fits in your large pot. I bought two and they cut my soil needs by half. Highly recommends!

We bought 3’ glazed pots & by using these discs, it allows them to sits in the middle so you only need to use half of the soil to fill the pots & allows for drainage. I’ve bought many sizes of these & are quite useful.

I have dozens of these discs in the planters around my yard. I love them as it saves on the dirt you need to fill the planters, allows additional room for root growth, and makes the ceramic planters a little bit lighter since you do not have to use as much dirt.

Fits well in very large planter, still leaves plenty of soil area for plant roots while significantly reducing the amount of soil in and weight of the planter. Used a coco liner on top of insert for containing dirt. The insert allows for drainage. An efficient design!

This is a brilliant idea and I only wish I had found this product sooner. Such a soil and cost saver for gardeners.

2020: I have a large planter that I wanted to put sand in and sea shells then top with a glass round tabletop.To make the pot lighter and not need a ton of sand I filled the bottom of the pot with styrofoam then tried to cut out a couple of circles in cardboard then planned to put the sand on this.I couldn't get the cardboard to stay in place no matter what I did. I finally found this. Filled to bottom with the styrofoam, placed this in the planter and got it leveled. I put the cardboard cutouts on top of it because this has a few holes. Then I put in the sand, sea shells, other decor and the glass topper.Now, I have a beautiful, seaside decor table on my deck. I love it!!! I can change out the items in the sand any time I choose to.The table is light enough to move around, but I have it on a caddy with wheels just to make it easier to move.This piece made my table easy to make and easy to use.

You buy this product with the intent to save money on soil but unfortunately the cost of this product is more than the price of soil that I would need to fill in the bottom. The price needs to come down in order for it to be worth the purchase. I will continue to use mulch and top soil to keep filling the bottom of my deep pots, simply more cost efficient.
