I really like that this is primarily made with very natural ingredients. It does have a slight scent but nothing like the nauseous ammonia scent in conventional hair products. I’m really sad it’s no longer sold at my local Whole Foods. It takes about 5+ days to get from Amazon. I really like this hair color. Works great on grays and does stay on permanently. You won’t get the crazy burn you normally get with conventional hair color. I don’t care for the royal cream jelly the scent is more chemical then the actual hair color. I like that you can use any unmixed coloring for future touch ups.

If you’re used to coloring your own hair, this product is great. Easy to use, no harsh smell, ample amount. Some hair colors are single use. This one is designed to be used for more than one application. Doesn’t last as long as professional haircolor though long enough to do the job.

Have always used Herbatint dye for years! One of the main reasons for using it is because it has no parabens or alcohol. One of the best products. Will continue to use this product!!

Having tried numerous hair color products I would not use any other brand besides this. There is not odor with this product and it lasts at least as long as any other product. The fact that it doesn't come with a mixing bottle is no big deal to me. They cost about $1.50 at a beauty supply store and are reusable.

This is an excellent product, which I have been using for years. It does not damage hair, oxydizes very little if at all, and is easy to use. A huge benefit is that you can prepare only a small amount for touch-ups! which is one of the main reasons I have adopted this product to the exclusion of all others.

Hair color itself is good, just be aware of color. As I noticed, coloring shown on boxes is way from real color you get, from my experience - it comes our darker. Otherwise, I would recommand it. It covers gray hair well and does not wash off any faster the L'Oreal colors.

I assumed since this was an " all natural " product, I would be able to use to color my hair, but, unfortunately, when I did the skin test, I had a reaction to SOMETHING in it, my arm developed red, itchy blisters. I won't be able to use it to dye my grey roots like I wanted to. I am upset, especially since I have a big Easter party to attend. Guess I will just have to wear that.
