I am unsure if it is specific to the bag I received, but the majority of the candies lacked significant flavor or spice. However, a few pieces did exhibit excellent flavor and spice, suggesting the possibility of a defective bag.

BAM! So many unique elements in one little hard candy!
This is my 2nd time purchasing these candies. Like the classic New Wave song stated, "I like candy". But at my age, most American candy is just about the same its been for years at a time. Sweet, sour, spicy... so many things in one candy! Its a unique pleasure. I have some in a dish right at my work desk -- and whenever I have an urge to wake me from a work stupor, I unwrap one, pop it in my mouth and BAM! a whole, new outlook!
