Bleecker Street Designer Backgammon Set - Available in Medium and Large Sizes

The day we received our game, I opened the case to play and the spring mechanism that keeps the latches closed, popped out.However, we continued to play and had a good time!

I have a few problems with this. First of all I was trying to buy one for my wife that is like her grandmothers old backgammon set. (Of course nothing is made like they use to be). So i got this and it looked great. I am not a fan of the velvet outside, but I like the blue. the inside is stitched and looks great. Based on the other review i expected the chips to match 100% the same (well at least the white). However, the white matches perfectly and the blue is off. I do not mind that as much though because I expected it to a certain extent. The major problem I have is that when you have the chips all lined up on the 6 pips there is way to much room in the middle of them. The Chips should be larger so there isn't as much room.I am now going to order Chips that are 1 7/16" dia. (The ones that come with it are 1 1/4) This should make a big difference with playing. I hope these now work better and I will be happy with it, just upset that I am going to be spending more money than I planned. (If I were to do it all over again I would order a 21" tournament board for around $100+, just make sure you read reviews)

love this backgammon game... the color is gorgeous and its made really well... came super fast, i have no complaints... thx again :)

The pictures show what appears to be white playing pieces matching the white in the playing field. The playing pieces that arrived were ivory colored and didn't match the white playing field. It appears that the contrast has been adjusted in the photo to make the ivory and white seem to match better. If you're not picky about the colors matching, then it's a nice set for the price. (I'm picky and decided to return it.) As the description states, the outside of the case is also velour (in addition to the playing field), which might not necessarily be desirable because it attracts lint and animal hair. I decided to purchase a leatherette set that had the look and feel of leather but at a price comparable to the velour set.

Great quality. We are a backgammon family and added this set to our others and it fits right in.

A nice set & My wife loves it. The only thing is that the dice are NOT SQUARE! They are narrow on the 1/6 sides. Both sets! Madness!

The case looked similar to the photo. But in person it was lightweight and fragile feeling as in don't expose it to sunlight for more than a few minutes fragile. The rest of the accessories were nowhere near the same as in the photos or the description. The stones in particular were of much lower quality than the photos show. They were a dull grayish color instead of the shiny deep marbled blue color shown in the photos. They had a circular discoloration toward the center that looked like a chemical stain from manufacture. They were also light as a feather and just had a very cheap feel to them. The dice were of very low quality. The doubling cube was the same size as the dice which again is different from the product photo. If I had seen this set in person I wouldn't have been willing to by even half what they're charging for it. I think the photos are from a product that sold 10 or so years ago and is no longer in existence. I returned the set I got due to the fact that it was flimsy, cheap and massively overpriced for what you're getting. I ended up buying a Crisloid set which was much better. The difference is night and day.

三角形の合皮製のポイントが盤面に縫い付けてあるのですが、その厚さが1ミリ近く有る為、盤上でチェッカーを滑らせようとするとポイントの厚みにチェッカーが引っ掛かりまくってしまい、その度にチェッカーをつまんで持ち上げて移動しなければならないので、プレイアビリティは最悪です。通常バックギャモンは盤上でチェッカーを滑らせてプレイするのが普通ですが、この製品はそれが不可能です。
