Works great!
I had no issues at all with positioning for both cars in the garage. Very quick and easy install. So far it’s working great!

Works Great
This allows us to park our vehicles with precision in a tight garage area. The laser lights are bright and have a wide range of adjustment. Lights come on and off based on motion. Happy with purchase.Only negative is that the battery installation was difficult because of the short length of the wires on the 9 volt battery conector but I eventually got it installed.

Nice helper - could be better
The motion sensor works well to activate the lasers when needed. The primary issue we found is that the lasers do not spread far enough apart. We have an average size two car garage. On the left hand side of the garage, the sensor ended up being on the center console. The right hand side it is up on the dash, left of the steering wheel. The little swivel on the lasers just won't rotate out wide as needed. As others have noted, the unit itself weighs virtually nothing. It was easy to mount the plate using the drywall anchors. It functions great, just lacks the adjustability needed for our garage and cars.Coming from the old ball and string method, we put little stickers to show exactly where the cars should be for a perfect fit.

Works very well!
Installation does require a ladder, drill and mallet (hammer) however it isn’t difficult. Instructions are minimal at best. Several You Tube videos help but it would be ideal if some instruction relative to placement in the garage ceiling relative to the car would have been nice. While the installation videos I watched implied a 90 degree angle was optimal to avoid reflection from the windshield, I found that angle made visualizing the laser on the car hood, as it moved forward, rather short making any adjustment to the vehicle to align the laser a bit more difficult. My preference would be to place the device some distance in front of the vehicle so the laser can be seen well in advance and alignment can be more easily made. All in all, I like it and would buy again.

Great idea, but difficult to install and not practical for tight spaces.
I bought this unit because it looks like a very good idea, but it did not work as well as I expected and a much simpler and cheaper solution works better for us.First, despite the "wide angle upgrade", the laser is not wide enough for two cars parked at a reasonable distance (e.g. 3 feet). It took me a great deal of time to try different locations, different angles but the best I could do is for the laser to aim at the center of one car, and the passenger side of another. The problem is that there is a center console in the car so I would sometime miss the small dot if it lands at the side of the console.Second, we need to turn the car to part park our second car in the garage so the front of the car will not stay at the same place, and not quite in parallel with the front of the garage. This makes it difficult for us to judge the distance when the red dot lands at different locations each time. I suppose with time we should be able to learn the good stopping points though.I was not quite happy with the product so I bought a "Camco AccuPark Vehicle Parking Aid" and I realized that I was solving a simple problem with a complex solution since that simple piece of plastic works way better than the laser. The biggest difference is that you do not have to look for the laser dot and the car will stop by itself when it reaches the "parking aid", so whereas you could bump into something when you are not paying attention to the laser, you will definitely not bump into the wall as long as you are not accelerating in the garage.... There is really no need for a catching the red dot game each time when you park.

Amazing!
I read all the reviews and especially the negative ones. No offense to any of those folks, but some people should just not install anything. This installed in 30 seconds, and took only a couple of minutes to get the laser situated on the dashboard where I wanted the beams. And the only reason that took a couple of minutes is simple: I could not see through the windshield with the glare so had to get off the ladder....look....back up....back down. No big deal. It works like a charm! The motion detection is great. Wish I had bought this 10 years ago instead of backing up into the garage and hitting chunks of wood, and constantly having to re-position them. My ONLY complaint has nothing to do with the product. And that is that looking out my garage is straight west. So when I back in at night after work, for a certain portion of the year, anyway, the sun glares in like crazy and I cannot see the beam.

Works as described
Easy to mount on ceiling. Once you get the vehicles parked where you want them just direct the laser to a specific spot you’ll remember on the car. Tremendous help for smaller garages and bigger cars.

Working Well - Despite First Impressions
Our garage space is pretty tight and we needed something besides a tennis ball. The laser was a good idea - at least on paper. I read the reviews and knew it was going to be cheaply made, but did not expect it to be THIS cheaply made. Out of the box, the product did not impress. The battery cover clip broke when I tried to use it. The mounting plate was difficult to separate from the housing. When I chose a place (it needed to be on the ceiling of the garage for optimum angle)(used same outlet as garage door opener) I was shocked at how fragile the tiny laser housing was. The flimsy housings for each laser popped off in my grasp as I was adjusting each of their aims. I pushed them back on (lucky they didn't come completely off) and then gingerly directed the beam to where I wanted. You cannot be too exact for fear of breaking off one of the lasers. So we have two parked cars, each with their own laser. Once I set it, the cars have been coming in and out with pinpoint accuracy. The motion detector is unobstructed towards the garage floor and works every time. It's a little weird when the cars are away and you walk through the garage setting off the motion detector and a red dot is painted on your body. So all the comments about fragility are true, but if you handle with care and get it set up the way you want it, you will likely be happy with the result.
