Hard Storage Case Replacement for Exergen Temporal Artery Thermometer (only case)

We normally carry our Exergen TAT2000C thermometer in a canvas bag, only to find on occasion that the probe cover has popped off, or something was pressing on the power button. This case holds the thermometer safe and secure. The fit is very snug - the thermometer can only sit "on its side" - which prevents us from storing extra probe covers in the case's inner pouch. Still though, the case performs its required function.

This is not too small that you have to shove the thermometer in, and not too big that it will slide or bounce around inside. One millimeter shorter or longer would have made it less perfect. Nice hardshell for protection. Netted pouch inside to slide the instruction manual into.

It took me a while to get used to swiping it across the temple, but it's been the most reliable thermometer so far. I don't know why, but my family goes thermometers like crazy. Those cheap ones you get from the pharmacy just don't last. This one seems incredibly sturdy and reliable.

I purchased the Exergen temporal thermometer once before and broke it in a week of carrying it with me for work. I purchased again and then bought the carrying case and have had no problems since then. It's been a few months and the case has held up really well. I've had no problems with the zipper. The case is hard on the outside and padded on the inside so I don't worry about the thermometer getting knocked around a bit. I'm pleased with the purchase.

It's a well made rigid case that should keep the thermometer from being damaged, even if handled roughly. A nice feature is a pocket in the lid that's perfect for holding the instruction booklet. And the case doesn't add too much bulk. All in all, I'm very happy with it.

Fits the thermometer perfectly. Nice hard covering, so if tiny hands grab it, the thermometer is safe inside. Has made storage so much easier/safer.

I returned this because the model of thermometer advertised did not fit in this case properly. It was hard to close the thermometer into the case. It was a very tight fit leaving it to feel vulnerable because of the tight fit.

High quality, fits the exergen temporal thermometer perfectly. Pricing would be better around $8 or $9 but I would buy it again - probably not for more than $13. It's exactly what I was looking for.
