Direct fit, OEM Quality!
The plastic bung for the coolant hose on my original tank snapped, and all the coolant spilled and evaporated off. This was the perfect fit to replace it, the hooks for the wire harness lined right up, along with the taps and the mounting feet. Sturdy construction and the perfect OEM replacement for my 2010 VW. You want a quality replacement that’s also inexpensive? This is it. 10/10

Very good dealer alternative
Much cheaper than the dealer and 1/2 price of the local parts stores. Comes with new vent cap. If your car is overheating, make sure your cap is sealing. Ive seen alot of waterpumps replaced over a defective pressure cap. It will generally start boiling coolant out of the overflow. This part was as good or better than the oem part. 3 screws and a few hose clamps and you are back in business.

Perfect replacement
I just recently bought one of these a month and a half ago for my TDI Passat fit perfect no issues. I also purchased another one almost two years ago for my Jetta.. that also fit perfectly and has given me no issues since the install.. would definitely recommend this.. one of my OE hose nipples broke off of the 07 Jetta I wish I knew how cheap and easy this was to replace. I would have replaced it before it broke..

Metal pins too large
Don’t waste your money on this. The connector doesn’t fit like other reviews state. It appears the pins on this are much larger and don’t fit in the harness connector on your vehicle

Identical to OEM
Decided to spend a little more on a trusted brand. Usually have negative outcomes when I spend less. This was identical to the OEM and dropped right in.

Five Stars
same quality as the oem version. solid and smokin price! Half the price other OEM ones on Amazon and the bay E-.**Update 06/13/2016** I've had this in my car now for over a month now. No dis colorization, warping or leaks. Dorman products is hit and miss for me. I've been super happy on a few items, extremely disappointed with other. This one is definitely solid, and I'm pretty confidant that it will last me a couple of years.

(Fix and edited) Fits Great, Except for the Sensor Connection
Replacement for a MkV Jetta with a 2.5L. Fits perfectly fine. One problem, the sensor connector is just slightly too long, causing the "Low Coolant" light to come on every time I start the car. Does anyone have a fix for this? Here's the fix. Inside the connector (The bit attached to the car, yeah, the one with the wires sticking out of it), there is a spacer. Mine was purple. If you stick a small screwdriver or pry tool into the connector, and slide the spacer to the side of the connector with an access port, and pull it all the way out: Tah-dah! It'll fit like a glove. Not sure what I'm talking about? See the attached pictures.

Connector fit issues
I bought this as a replacement for my original tank in my 2013 VW GTi.The connector pins are thicker on this part. On my original VW part they were thin blades. You can try to spread the female contacts like I did but be careful. I still managed to bend the female contacts a bit. After all that I still couldn't get the connector to seat all the way so it would lock in. Might only be a small tolerance issue but a big issue to correct it. I filed a bunch of stuff down and finally, barely got it to seat and lock in.

Electrical connector had trouble fitting
The package arrived quickly. It fit and looks great. 2007 Audi A3. The only issue I faced was when I went to plug the sensor connector back in. The prongs on the new reservoir were thicker than the original. I used a flat screwdriver to pry open the connectors and filed the pongs a bit so it can plug back in. Dorman is usually pretty good at replacement parts but not on this one. Would have given it 5 stars if it plugged in like a snap. Hopefully this stops the coolant level warning from going off.
