Great product!
I bought the 4 footers to install vertically on the wooden dock pilings at my marina. They have performed flawlessly over the last two seasons and have held up to the elements. I don't take them down in the winter, but they don't seem to mind. The boat weighs over 20 tons and these barely notice if I get up against the piling. They allow the rub rail to slide along without much friction. These are very quiet also, compared to our neighbors who have the white rubber style bumper that shrieks anytime a rub rail comes near!

Perfect solution at my mooring location.
Installed them in about 20 minutes. I just used SS nails and spaced them, almost exactly as pictured. They work great. My boat is a 34PC and heavy. These are perfect protection. No hanging bumpers required.

Needed to know lake level excursion.
I liked the product. Well made and as advertised. Will be installing on outward two of four post pilings to protect 30 ft sailboat when backing into slip with floating dock. Boat is on a large hydroelectric lake in Virginia that varies in level as much as six feet.

Not large enough.
The 3.5in wide size is too small, i have a 25ft boat, and the bumper cushion is only 2.5in wide, so it doesn't cover a 4x4 in post. I had to use 2 bumpers to cover one post, almost $100 worth.
