Replaced old seized lock
Purchased to replace a seized locking mechanism on my Ford Focus. Once the old lock had been removed this was very easy to reinstall. Fit perfectly where the old one used to be. Still working g fine 6 months later.

This was 2nd I brought as 1st didn't last 5 mins .. this didn't last long as broken in seconds..

Causes bonnet open warning but mechanically sound
The lock mechanism itself is of good quality. HOWEVER… there are no pins for the connector that detects if the bonnet is unlatched. So I fitted the part and it worked lovely but when I turned on ignition it complained the bonnet was open. Fortunately the old latch was functional so I re-fit that. If I had needed to use it I would have had to link out the bonnet switch cable to stop the error message and make the functionality redundant.

Solid Replacement
Purchased to replace the original bonnet lock on my Ford Focus. Seems like a well made and solid replacement for the original lock. Good value for the money.

Fitted my Focus Mk 2 without any issues -
Perfect fit - only thing that I had to do was transfer from the old lock was the white plastic cross shaped centre part which fits to the actual locking part from the key hole in the front to the bonnet release mechanism. Part shown in my posted pictures. Take care when prising out the white part - in order not to break it - gentle persuasion - not brut force !

Does what it says.
I had bonnet catch warning keep coming up on the dash. Bought and replaced a new catch and it worked. Very easy to swap over just two bolts. Tip if doing this plug the connecting to the electrics in before fixing on the new one on as I did it after fitting and found it too hard so had to take back off lol
