This is one of the best brands to make christmas sorrel with. The instructions say to sit it in boiling water overnight, but I did put it on the hob for a little before letting it sit. The flavor turned out better in the ones I let sit for a while on a hob, but all of them were good. Flavor was great, just added ginger, lemon and for 3/4 of the mixture added overproof rum, It was perfect and gave it to many members of my family. I ended up using using 10 cups of water to every 2.5 cups of dried sorrel.

I just had my first glass of sorrel drink. The instructions says1c. Of sorrel to 4 c. Of boiling water. I made my first batch and delicious just being the curious person I am I added 4 more cups of boiling water to used flowers and waited 3 hours it worked! I've got to order more

One bag goes a long way. Can make almost 3 gallons. Will keep purchasing this brand.
