universal well thought-out design
Pros:-tested with a phone in a wallet-style case at 18.3mm (.7in) thick. I had to pull rubber top-arm holders out a little, but that worked.-compatible with 17mm Amps ball mount adapter. This opens up a ton of clean mounting solution, and you don't have to risk damaging your vent louvers.-placing and removing the phone is effortless.-love the clever design to accommodate landscape and portrait with complete ease.-the bottom grips accommodate a charging cable.-I like the metal plate that the phone rests against. it could definitely transfer heat.Cons:-The gravity mechanism feels a bit frail, but it works well, so we'll see how it works in the long term.

Ingenious design 😄👍
I've had several smartphone holders for the car in the past and the design itself makes it easy to take the phone in and out while being secure.Since the phone locks by the gravity itself and while I don't have the phone in the photo it basically locks into place once you put the phone whether it's in vertical or horizontal position.I've never had a luck with the vent mount type of phone holder where it would rattle over time or it did not feel secure but by far this one has been the best and easy smartphone holder.I highly recommend this holder as not only the price is good but feel that your investment in any expensive phone would make this holder worth while 💯💯💯

So easy to use. Just slide in and out.
I am very happy with my new car vent cell phone holder. It clips onto your vent with a very good strong clip that will not fall off. It's very easy to move around from vent to vent if neccessary.I love this holder because your cell phone easily slips in and out without fear of the cell falling out because the little arms grab it. you can also place you cell in side ways. dont turn the holder, just place the cell in sideways and the arms will close to hug your cell.I definitely recommend this vent holder.

It's cute
I used on my car, I had a 1991 preview and does not fit right on the fans. So I used it instead of my other car which works just right. Easy to use, but a little bulky case it just won't do. Have a slim case or just have the phone it self is will do just fine. If you have an otter case which can be bulky, this phone holder is not for you. It just won't support and will just slide off.The only thing that's a con for me is probably placing this and have it lock on the air vent. it can be very frustrating sometimes on my experience. I think it's too short for the clamp, if it was a little longer it would have been nice. Also hate how locking the knob is not strong enough.

Great for Drivers
I've tried a lot of cell phone holders. I'm a LYFT driver, and hit potholes, speed bumps, you name it. This is the first device that I can place in any vent and it really, really stays. Plus it tilts in any direction you want. AND you can do all of this with one hand. Unreal. I'm hard to please. Extremely particular, as I have to keep my eye on the road and on the GPS which isn't as easy as it sounds. Love it!

Ineffective clamp, flops side to side.
I am not sure who's vents these are working on. Because of the single horizontal clamp (not a 't' grip like my previous mount...left in a rental car) on the mount this thing flops around (from the clamp not the locked down ball joint) with vehicle turns to eventually fall off if you don't tend to it every 3-4 turns. The gravity mount part is excellent, just the vent clamp is ineffective no matter how I place it.

My iPhone X fits firmly
I like this design that I can just drop my phone on the lower feet and automatically pull the upper feet to grab the phone tight. The upper rubber feet provide a lot friction and the phone is on quite firmly. Also the phone won’t interfere the volume button at all. I have a ring holder in back, so the thickness could be a problem. What I did is pull out the rubber feet a little bit so the depth is enough to hold the phone.

It meets expectations
Most vent clips come loose after a few months, but this hasn't so far.The design is fairly simple which allows for the phone to cradled in and out easily and quickly without readjusting the connect points every time the phone is inserted or removed. The only con:The clip connected to car vent does get loose and requires readjustment every two weeks or so.
