Regular blades seem to go dull pretty quickly for me. I use my knife mainly to cut thick cardboard, and I feel like I had to change regular blades way too often. These seem to work better on the thick cardboard in general, and they stay useful for so much longer. Even though these blades are a little more expensive than the regular ones I was getting, they last many times longer per blade. I only found out about these blades because a guy I work with uses them and I got one from him one day. The one I got from him lasted forever!

I recommend these over any other brand or style of blades. I used to struggle to cut fabrics or rope with Milwaukee general purpose blades, but these serrated ones cut everything. And even the case dispenser they come in is high quality, with a spring loading advance mechanism that dispenses one blade at a time in a very satisfying way.

Excellent blades. I work in a warehouse and picked these up because I was tired of changing out the supplied blades every few days. They're obscenely sharp, hold their edge through a ton of abuse, and those serrations go through cardboard like a hot knife through butter. I've yet to encounter anything resembling a downside.
