I received the kit and no instructions. I had to read the reviews to find out what Avery template to use which I believe it was 74651. I downloaded from Avery the .pdf version of the template but printing was an issue. Reading the reviews again I noticed the company emailed instructions to those who contacted them. I emailed the company directly because I needed the information fast but have not heard back. I probably should have contacted them through the Amazon link. To print I changed the settings to shrink oversized pages and choose paper source by PDF page size. That worked but the ID has a border when I separated the badges some had a full border and others had partial border. To make them look identical I just cut the border off the badge. This was for Take Your Child To Work Day and the kids loved it so it worked out in the end. If I did not have patience I would have through the badge kit away.

I am using these for a class activity in a graduate course I am teaching. The quality of the lanyards and badge holder is great. The only problem (and one that was time consuming and a little frustrating) is that I could not use the inserts in my printer and wasted time in the process of discovering that. I noted somewhere a review commented on that concern, but I suggest that vendors consider including directions on how to set this up for printing. I used the Avery site to create a template but could not customize the printer to fit the size of these inserts. I plan to reuse these for future semesters. This product exceeded my expectations. These are everything you could possibly expect and want for name badges. The badge holders, the lanyards, and even the card stock were first-rate. You could easily reuse the holders and lanyards, but for the price, you probably don't need to. They were really appreciated by a group that was used to stick-on paper name tags. They held up just fine for a 3-day outdoor event. And everyone wanted to keep them as a souvenir! One person asked if it should be returned... NONE were thrown away.

Badge holders are great. Good quality thick pockets. Lanyards are well made and come packaged well (in groups of 25) so they are not all tangled when they arrive. I was not impressed with the "printable inserts." It is a page 4.25" x 10.25" with uneven margins. There is not a "template" for them in Word, Publisher, Microsoft Online, or even searching the web. I found trying to print on the inserts more trouble than it was worth and just printed on an 8.5"x11" and cut it. Other than that, the holders and lanyards are great.

The lanyards were bright and beautiful and the name tag holders were very sturdy. So sturdy, that the enclosed nametags were hard to get into the plastic holders. I solved the problem by snipping off the edges of the individual name tags. I felt if the paper was a bit sturdier, it may have been easier to insert the paper nametag. Don't get me wrong, the paper is not flimsy. Everyone at the 50th Reunion was happy. Thanks!!

These worked perfect;ly for our 50th Year Class Reunion. The pouch was able to hold our name tag, as well as the two drink tickets that were included in the price of the event. The lanyard is very stylish, but was a little long for reading peoples names, however, we tied a knot (to whatever length you needed) and it helped out a lot. I highly recommend these Name Badge Holders

Well packed. The badge holders are easy to open and close. The name badges fit inside very nicely. I subtracted 1 star because there is nothing included that says how to setup a program such as Word for printing, e.g., margins, etc. Trial and error eventually worked, but it was a bit of a pain.

These lanyards are perfect for our family reunion. Will work great to label all our family. I like that each plasic sleeve has a zip lock that will keep the paper dry no matter what.Our package was previously opened and several of the plastic sleeves were cut open and taped back together. Only a few were so baldly damaged that the were completely unusable luckily they aren't all needed. I do however gift things to the local arts council regularly and this is a few less name tags that I purchased to go to the volunteers.
