Nice, but a little confusing to set up.
Compact scanner/ printer works very well. It was a little difficult to connect to my home wi-fi but I persisted then in no time it was working like a charm. As with anything, the buttons are confusing as was the digital display. Just play with it and it’s very easy even for a senior that’s falling behind the progression of technology. I chose the Canon as it is a quality name and you don’t have to buy a subscription for refills of inks. I didn’t want to mess with that. The color and black/white cartridges that are easy to insert. I bought an extra set of print cartridges because they were a nice price and were suggested to fit my Canon printer/scanner. It is easy to insert paper. Nice purchase. Nice quality fir the price. You won’t be disappointed.

Nightmare...
I have had this printer for a few months and it came up with an error code 6800. I called Canon customer support and it said I would have to register the product to get support. When I tried to register it the canon site would not accept the serial number. I ended up spinning for some time between being unable to register the product and then getting hung up on by canon's customer support line because the product wasn't registered. After investing some hours of my life in this dead end I went ahead and called canon's purchase line where a nice lady answered and agreed to look up the serial number. Turns out the printer I ordered from amazon through an independent seller called Yarkcapital is not a PIXMA TS5320 but actually a PIXMA TS5320a which is not supposed to be sold in the U.S. ....so canon cannot provide me with any customer support. I got back on amazon and called the seller 'Yarkcapital' and they offered no help and suggested I called Amazon. So then I burned some more of my life on a call with Amazon where they offered to send me $20 for my $189 printer and sent me an 'escalation' email address for canon. I emailed canon at this email and guess what...they answered saying the email is an unmonitored box and I need to contact canon support via the same number that originally hung up on me because my product wasn't registered. What is this Orwellian loop of printer hell I have entered? Who is responsible for my broken printer? Amazon? Canon? Yarkcapital? It's looking like the printer is going to end up in a land fill and I am going to have to take the cost of it on the chin. In terms of the product itself...before it broke it was fine...a bit glitchy but fine. It was slower and louder and less efficient that my previous canon PIXMA which has lasted me years. I would have rated it a shaky 3 stars if it hadn't just died and then stolen many hours from my life. I remember back in the day when I was a loyal canon amateur photographer and felt a strong sense of loyalty to that company. That same loyalty lead me to their printers and now we are just gonna totally break up. In addition to the cost of the printer I had just gotten organized and replaced the printer ink. And we all know the cost of printer ink HURTS.

Okay for occasional use
I recently started an online grad program. i prefer to read articles and slides in hard copy so I can easily make notes. This printer works for what I need. I agree with other reviewers that the printer is a bit slow. The supply level of the ink is low, too, after printing only a few weeks worth of slides. I do have XL ink cartridges in black & color, waiting to go when I do run out of this first set. But, it was relatively easy to set up and it's working well for what I need right now. If you need it for your business, I think I'd go with something else.

its PERFECT. especially for a college student like me or anyone who wants a great printer
I really love this printer! I got the pink one. It was sooo easy to set up. The instruction booklet was simple and fast. Installing the ink cartridges was easy (I had never done it before in this kind of printer) as well as everything else - extremely easy to set up and connect wirelessly to my laptop. You just follow the instructions in the book, then it gives you a website to go to and download the compatible software to your laptop from the official canon website - and then that's it. I set mine up by myself with ease. It looks amazing - prints well and with good quality - I just printed a cat photo on regular paper and it came out great. Printing photos on actual glossy photo paper improves the quality immensely - as I saw in a youtube video by a guy who tested this very printer. The only advice I would give is to package the printer more discreetly possibly with "FRAGILE" labels all over as it was delivered in it's standard canon box so everyone outside could see what it was. At the same time, they may do this so people handling the package at Amazon and with the mail people will handle the box accordingly. Not sure- I didn't really mind.. just something to note. Maybe try to have it delivered on a specific day so you can be home to grab it. I really really love my purchase and it will be perfect for my sophomore year of college for printing out papers I type and for printing study material and taking copies of textbooks etc. Really I needed it last year too - but I have it now!

Works okay, but I bought new and received used (someone else's scan page was inside). It arrived packaged strangely as well.

Great Printer for A Crafter
I needed a printer for my crafting space. (I do photos, printable vinyl, etc.) Inwas initially drawn to this one because of the reortedly small desk footprint--I have a computer and a Cricut on my desk already so I was hoping for a small printer with good capability. I read reviews and did some research. I like that it's small and mighty, and that I can add an ink subscription via Dash. I kept coming back to this printer. I was originally looking for white. Longer story made shorter, I ended up getting the pink one AND it arrived in three days. I've printed 2 detailed shirt transfers and 3 waterslide decals from just the starter ink. (It is still not emptied BTW.) To be fair I will list cons: the drivers on the included CD were in need of an update straight out of the box. Also I don't love that little paper tray. (It slides out but it doesn't slide back in as easily.) The printer did not include a data cable, but this was not major because I purchased one alongside anyway. All in all, I really like this printer. I'm happy with its functionality. Very cute and perfect for the level of printing I do. (If you are a heavy hitter you definitely want to subscribe for ink or possibly go a grade up printerwise; just a heads-up.)
