A really good kit to get me started. The cord is pretty good quality and has been enough to make 3 plant hangers and a small wall hanging. It's handy that it all comes in one bag (big enough that I can also put in my large scissors and a measuring tape!).The main downside for me was the beads which I haven't been able to use, the insides of the beads are rough and this makes it really difficult to put fraying ends of rope through them as it catches on the fibres which is a real shame.

This is an excellent starter pack for macrame. As stated in other reviews some of the bead holes are not good, I used a bit of sellotape around the end of the cord and that worked well to thread the beads on. I think this pack is very good value for money and I have made my first item, a shamalla bracelet with it already.

Hi hard to comment really, everything looks good quality. Never done this before so learning the ropes slowly. As I'm a few days away from seventy I guess it will take me abit longer to pick it up. Trying a practice run with knots at moment. Then I'll chose the most easiest one to start, maybe a plant holder.

There were no instructions and as I bought this as a beginner set I assumed there’d be some basic instructions.

This item was good but expensive for what it was
