At cold temperatures we first freeze on the extreme extremities. To keep the body temperature at cold, we consume a lot of energy. With the heated products of Lenz the body needs much less energy to maintain its "feel-good temperature". In combination with the Lenz lithium packs and the integrated heating element, the Lenz heat socks provide up to 14 hours of warm feet - no matter how extreme the conditions outside may be. The functional sock has an integrated, non-noticeable heating element that heats the toe area and balls. The socks are washable at 30 °C. Great socks, purchased 2 pairs the same in total.I wear a 5 1/2 but the up to 39 sizing was way way too small, had to buy the 39size upwards (these ones) which work great.I love the ap; only thing is I can’t see how to make each battery a different temperature (as I wear a knee brace one foot always colder than other) so I crank one up to 3 (max) and if Ever it runs out i can swap them overIt doesn’t get ‘warm or hot’ feet, just not cold feet, at least this was my experience AND a lady with exactly the same lenz batteries, just a different white and black lenz sock, and we were testing in Pyrenees so maybe -5?Batteries haven’t run out on me at all since I charged them properly, running them for 6hours on level 2 but I do have the more expensive rc1800; I beleive the 1200 and 1800 are the higher power, more flexibility on settings and models that link to an App (blue tooth), but do read up for yourselves non Lenz own website to verify.The saved my bacon standing on piste for 6 hours in ski resort.They take a far while to charge but I have the model battery that comes with 12v and usb to 240v plug charger so hubbie thinks they charge at less power bring through a USB lead; love the fact can charge in the car; pop em in your plug (haven’t actually used car charger yet) overnight at home and by morning you are green for go,Used the socks without battery and it does seem a really decent warm sock in it’s own right.Do wonder if the supplier of the ‘up to 39’ size on amazon is genuine? As they were totally different fit.. foot too big, leg far too small (I have skinny legs!) and the size up, foot was thinner, more ‘real foot shaped’
