Tetrion White Stonefil 900ml

I had a couple of jobs which needed doing. First I had some limestone blocks in the corner of a building which were showing signs of frost damage. This stuff was easy to apply as a protective coat over the affected areas, with excellent adhesion. The second was two limestone blocks which had cracked where old shutter fixings had rusted and cracked the blocks. Again, this was really easy to force into the cracks and then clean off the excess. In both jobs the repair is hardly noticable, especially as the colour match is so good. A little goes a long way, too. For a few £, I easily did a couple of jobs which had been waiting for for me to find a solution.

I've used epoxy adhesives for years, as the no. 1 adhesive, only bested by Cyanoacrylates, when clamping is impossible. I bought this to fill cracks in interior stone, for which this product was ideal. Needs decent planning and preparation, as sets pretty fast.

This was an ideal product for my project: filling cracks and holes in an old internal sandstone (flag-stone) floor. It is NOT clear, but a dries to a light honey colour that is semi-transparent, ideal for warm tone stone. I was able to mix it with some stone powder that I ground from a spare bit of stone, and it worked well. I was also able to add a little dye to the product (prior to adding the hardener) which allowed me to colour match. I give it 4 not 5 stars because I think the production description as "clear" is misleading and actually incorrect. Also because the drying time (inside) was longer than advertised and the surface appeared "sticky" which confused me into thinking it had not properly set. But it had. It was incredibly hard to sand down, but perhaps that is a good thing, it being so durable !?

I was surprised at how liquid the filler was compared to wood fillers. It went off O. K. and the job was completed.

Product was very good and hardened very quickly for the 2 small outside jobs required. Used outside on a resin pathway and filled the holes lovely.

There were 3 colour choices for this product and as 2 of them did not match I chose the clear one. But it is NOT clear, its a nicotine yellow in colour. This product is an over priced ripoff.

It’s not actually clear, it’s a yellowish colour. I used it to repair a frost-damaged planter and the result is horrible
