Cute fox! I bought this because I lost my other arctic fox elf pet. I thought it would look like the original one with scrappy fur, but it looked exactly like the photos on Amazon. Has half a snow globe, but otherwise Very Cute! Cutest elf pet. I only have this and the reindeer though.

My granddaughter kept watching Elf On The Shelf videos and kept asking why her elf didn’t have any pets. I was sort of dumbfounded because I didn’t know there were EOTS pets!?! I do all of my shopping on Amazon so I knew I could find them here. I came across this little guy and knew she’d love him. He’s a great size and falls right in line with the size of the elf. The price was good here and I got it in 2 days in time for her to enjoy it a couple of weeks before Christmas. I wrote a note from her EOTS saying she was so excited her pet had arrived. My granddaughter was so thrilled! Because of this, I ordered all of the other pets through Amazon so she’ll have a big surprise next year!!!

I have one from 2018. I can say a lot of things as the child who owned it, WAS ME. I have read a lot of reviews on this little guy saying: “oh the snow globe broke, the furs matted.” “The fur gets dirty easily.” Those are easy fixes! For anyone who needs it: if you don’t enjoy the stringy fur brush it out with a dog brush until it’s to your liking. Any way, as I said I’ve had it for 7 years, I’ve cuddled it, took it into snow, and much more stuff. Its fur didn’t mat badly if at all. The snow globe didn’t break. The fur has gotten dirty but just clean it, like is it that hard?? I have no idea how much it originally costed back in 2018 if it changed at all, but now I’d say it is not worth $24 due to the looks and size of it. It honestly doesn’t look too close to the photo, and is about as big as a Coca Cola can. Though when I was younger I loved it so kids around my age at the time probably would have loved it to because it’s fun. Any way the photos I’ve attached are ones of before I brushed it and after (this year.)

Update: THE SNOW GLOBE GLOWS IN THE DARK... Honey, my daughter went crazy lol.. I didn't expect it (and I totally forgot that the story book says that) so it was so precious to watch her reaction when we walked in the house lol... I swear I never noticed the glow before on her first one so IDK if this is a new surprise feature.. But we both love it! My daughter is obsessed with this whole series. This will be her second one because the necklace in the first one broke after being dropped too many times.. She doesn't know Santa is bringing it lol.. Price is ok.. The arctic fox is way more money than the other animals.. It shouldn't be like that.. But you get everything and the kids do love it! The whole concept behind it is so great for them... It's so soft and fluffy.. But warning when you wash it some of the fluff goes away.. Do not hand wash because surprisingly that is worst lol.. So we had to get her a second one.. Her first arctic fox has been all over the country with her so it was dirty lol... Love it

Kids (and adults) love this item. The book is well written and is of high quality. The fox is good quality and is rugged enough for use as a cuddle buddy by a child. The children love the fox’s ‘magical’ necklace. I will buy this item again.
