Perfect Home Theater PC
Perfect Home Theater PC!! This thing stays turned on 24 hours a day and 7 days a week without a single hiccup!! I installed a 120GB SSD Drive as well as 8Gb of memory. My OS is UbuntuGnome with KODI/XMBC installed. My family can use this setup with no issues, the kids can surf, do school work and write papers, watch movies, check email, AND SHOP... I have this box hooked up to a Vizio 50" at 1080p via HDMI and all is wonderful! This system runs a quad core Celeron N2930 at speeds more than acceptable for anything except very hard core gaming. Everyone that comes to my house can not believe that this little thing can do so much in such a small footprint. The whole family has now adopted this little PC as the main attraction. Well worth the $129 and the little bit extra for drive and memory...very very satisfied!! I also own a Gigabyte BRIX I7-4500 as my main office PC and although VERY fast, I am amazed at how his little Zotac can satisfy the needs of my entire family. A well done piece of technology!! Many of my friends have also purchased this same unit due to my experiences. Hope this brief review helps...

ABSOLUTE GARBAGE
I bought this on January 25, 2016 and ALREADY it has quit working. Was not tampered with up until this point. I called ZOTAC support and they were not only extremely rude but very dodgy when trying to figure out who to talk to about an exchange. They said it was out of warranty. I thought 90 days was fair and they state it is not.The power supply fried the CPU and bios. Since the CPU, Power Supply and Motherboard are all integrated, theres no way to field replace the units. It's not a very expensive piece of garbage. I am extremely unhappy and will NEVER buy a ZOTAC or associated product ever again. My company will look elsewhere.UPDATE 04/22/16: I FINALLY received a replacement on April 13, 2016 and installed Windows 10 Pro 64 bit, 4 GB DDR3 and a 250 GB SSD. Seems to be kind of okay. I am having an issue where my built-in clock quits working. It's not a problem with Windows AFAIK because Time service is running and have the same problem after shutdown or sleep. Also happens in my live version of UBUNTU (not installed but run from flash drive). ZOTAC support finally reached out (only via email because phones are way too advanced for these guys) and sent the following:Zotac Support <[email protected]>2:54 AM (9 hours ago)to meDear Sir,You may check the system clock without boot into Windows.Adjust to the correct time and date from BIOS menu.Wait over night.Check the clock from BIOS menu again. If the clock or date is incorrect, that may be a failed unit. You may contact the ZBOX seller for a replacement.B.rgdsZOTAC Support [email protected], useless. So it looks like I'll be looking into yet ANOTHER replacement or a straight up refund because of this. I cannot believe how many issues I've had after this because I've heard such great things from the fake reviews on here, lol.

Zotac CI320 vs. Beebox N3150
I recently purchased both a Zotac CI320 and a ASRock Beebox 3150. I posted a comparison review of the Beebox on Newegg, so thought I'd post here as well for the Zotac (where I purchased it).--------------------------So I bought the Beebox because I wanted to compare it to a recent Zotac ci320 build that I had done. They are very similar units. The beebox has a slightly newer processor (N3150) vs. the Zotac's (N2930) - but I really couldn't tell a difference in performance. Both played 1080p picture on my big screen just fine. Both have good build quality, but I think I like the Zotac a bit more. Definitely like the greater # of USB ports on the Zotac. The beebox has a fan inside, but other than at the initial startup, you'd never really know it. It's very quiet - although the Zotac is completely quiet (no fan). The plan is to use the Beebox as a media player for HD TV (with WMC and Emby) and it works fine for that. I don't currently use 4k for anything, but wanted to have that option if I went that way in the future. The big problem with the beebox is the built in wi-fi. The signal is ok for range, but there must be a driver problem (and I've updated to the latest as far as I can tell from their website). But even with a decent signal, there is a bit of video stutter every 20-30 seconds when streaming video. It's enough that it's annoying to anyone wanting great HD quality from streaming, and it's enough to make me give this only 3 stars (i'd give the Zotac 4). I currently disabled the built in Wi-fi AC, and instead plugged in an external usb 3.0 Wi-Fi N adapter, and that eliminated the stutter (so I know the problem is in the built-in wifi adapter on the unit). I've read online that many people are finding similar wi-fi issues with the Beebox. (come on ASRock, get a working driver out there that fixes this!!). The built in wifi also seems to cause interference with any wireless keyboards plugged into the usb ports. If you have problems with that, you need to extend the usb adapter for the wireless keyboard on an extention cable away from the Beebox (and also the Front USB seemed to have less problems for me). I had no wi-fi issues with the Zotac CI320 at all - great signal and range.I wanted to try the Beebox vs. another Zotac (Zotac also has a new unit that also has the N3150 cpu). The Beebox would be fine if the wi-fi issue was resolved. But because of that one issue, I would recommend the Zotac a bit above the Beebox. Both units were difficult to install win 7 (with WMC) on - but that was something I new would take some effort- because of Win 7s lack of USB 3.0 native support. So if you're installing win7, be aware you have to jump through a few hoops (search online, lots of help available on how to do get it done).Price was similar, but the Beebox (after rebate) was a bit less (say 20%) expensive- both good values.I've had the Zotac since September, and just got the Beebox, so long term durability is still unknown.hope this helps someone that might be looking at both these units.
